GEORGE II. \VILCOX, OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE MERIDEN BRITANNIA COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A ClGAR-TRAY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,670, dated June 28, 1892.
Application filed May 31, 1892. Serial No. 435,073- Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, GEORGE H. WILCOX, of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Cigar-Tray; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with accompanying drawings, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1 a top View, and Fig. 2 a longitudinal section.
This invention relates to a design for a tray for containing cigars or cigarettes, and which has matclrholders combined therewith, the design consisting in the configuration and ornamentation of the tray, as shown in the accom panying illustration. The tray proper is in the form of a parallelogram, the angles represented as slightly rounded with flaring sides, the ends of the tray represented as rising above the sides, the edge ornament-ed by the representation of scroii-work springing from the raised ends and running around the sides, the outer edge conforming to the shape of such ornamentation. The ornamentation is alike at both ends and at both ends the ornamentation continues of like character, rising from the ends and surroundingthe matchholders, alike at both ends, all as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
I claim- The design for a cigantray, as described and shown in the accompanying illustration.
