Be it known that I, ALBERT PATrTz,ofMe1-iden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Base for Lamp-Founts, (Case A and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a side view of a base for lampfounts embodying my design; Fig. 2, a top view of the same.
This invention relates to a design for a base for a lamp-fount, and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
The design consists of asquare base, having four legs A, terminating in upwardly turned scroll feet B, the legs surrounded or bordered by scroll and leaf ornamentations C, which extend upward and surround prominent, plain ornaments D projecting considerably from the general surface of the base, and forming 2 spaces between the legs A and projecting ornao ments D, are filled by reversely curved foliated scrolls F, curving inward and upward, all as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
I clairn- The design for a lamp-fount base as herein 5 shown and described.
