UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FRANZ YOKEL, OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE MERIDEN BRONZE COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A SLAB FOR TABLE-TOPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,202, dated April 17, 1894.
Application filed March 5, 1894. Serial No. 502,448. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANZ YOKEL,of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for 5 a Slab for Table-Tops, (Case 13;) and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification and represents a top or face view of a slab for a table-top illustrating the design.
This invention relates to a design for a slab for a table-top, and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation as shown in the accompanying illustration. The central portion of the slab is circular, and is surrounded by a border consisting of a series of shell ornamentations A, surrounding a plain panel, and surmounted by scroll work, alternating with ornate open scrolls B, the scrolls of the two ornamentations connecting at points, and the spaces between them filled by fret-work C, all springing from a beaded inner border D, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
I claim- The design for a slab for table-tops as herein shown and described.
