SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,131, dated March 19, 1895.

Be it kn own that LALBERT PATITZ, of Meriden,in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Lamp-FountHolder, (Case D and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-
Figure 1, a side view of a lamp-fount holder embodying my design; Fig. 2, an under side view thereof.
This invention relates to a design for a lampfount holder, and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation asshown in the accompanying illustrations.
In general outline the fount-holder is bowlshaped. Its lower portion, which is somewhat flattened, has a series of outwardly curved foliations A, alternating with sections of lattice-work B, surmounted by inverse scrolls 0.
Above these alternating lattice-work sections and foliations, and forming a somewhat ab- 25 rupt upward curve, therefrom, is an elaborate interlaced scroll and leaf ornamentation D, surrounding and overlapping a plain shieldlike surface E, and also inclosing an alternating rose and leaf ornament F, this scheme of 3) ornamentation being surmounted by a plain band Gr, having a rib H at its upper end, forming the upper configuration of the fountholder, all as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
I claim- The design for a lamp-fount holder as herein described and shown in the accompanying illustrations.
