LOUIS C. HILLER, OF WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO INTER- NATIONAL SILVER CO., OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, A CORPORATION OF NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A CANDLESTICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,037, dated September 2, 1902.
Application led July 25, 1902- Serial No. 117,049. Term ofpatent '7 years.

. Be it known that I, LOUIS C. HILLER, of 'Wallingford in lthe County of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Candlestick; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in- K Figure 1, a side View of a Candlestick embodying my design; Fig. 2, a sectional View on the line a b of Fig. l, showing the formation of the base.
Thisinvention relates to an ornamental design for a Candlestick; and it consists in the configuration and ornamentation, as hereinafter described and shown in the accompanying illustration.
As herein shown, the design consists of a base A, substantially rectangular, a post B, and head C. The diameter of the post gradually contracts from the head downward toward the Central portion, thence gradually expands and merges into the base, the surface of the base, post, and head being ornamented by four scrolls D, extending from the four corners of the base upward to the head and outlining four panels E on the four sides of the post.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The ornamental design for a Candlestick as herein shown and described.
