DESIGN FOR A- HEATING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,061, dated. January 24, 1899.

Application filed September 6, 1898. Serial No. 690,336. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that we, GEORGE W. COPE and WILLIAM L. BERTRAM, citizens of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing, in which my design for a stove is shown in elevation.

A is a base supported on legs and having for principal ornamentation the scrolls B on the front face, arranged, as shown, at the bottom of the ash-pit door. 0 is the ash-pit section, which is above said base and is of generally trapezoidal shape with rounded corners and contracted at top into circular form conformable to the fire-pot.

D is the ash-pit door, generally rectangular in form and ornamented, as shown, extending down into the base and having an ornamental damper E therein.

F is a fire-pot section of substantially inverted truncated conical form, having as its principal feature an ornamental flange G overhanging the top of the fire-pot, surrounding which and standing out therefrom is a depending skirt I in the form of a fiat enlarged ring formed at places corresponding with the corners of the stove with upward inwardly-turned extensions J, connecting it to the flange G, and downward inwardlyturned extensions K, constituting rests for the skirt on the ash-pit section.

L is the combustion chamber or body of the stove, generally cylindrical in form and having an ornamental front face, the leading features of which are two vertical ribs or fins L as the marginal border of the front face, as shown. M is the stove-door in the front of the body between said ribs or fins and which is provided with two ornamental panels N and O in the upper and lower portion thereof, respectively, as shown.

P is an ornamental flange on the top of the body of the stove.

Q is the dome-shaped top, and B is an ur11- shaped ornament forming the crown shape of the top.

What we claim is- The design for a heating-stove, substantially as herein shown and described.
