DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No.125,421, dated April 21, 1896.

Application filed March 14, 1896. Serial No. 583,263. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known thatl, JosEPH LEON GOEEILLE,

a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Cleveland, Ohio, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a I'Ieating-Stove,

of which the following is a speciiieation. y

My design for a heating-stove is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which 'represents the stove in perspective. o The essential feature of the design is the stove, having an enlarged base with ribbed ornamentation thereon combined with scrollwork and having a fluted fire-pot portion and an ornaniented body and door.

The base-section A has a wide band at the lower edge, and extending from this band are a series of ribs of different heights, and some of these ribs terminate in curved figures.

rlhe ash-pit door a is ornamented by scrollo work. Two ofthe scrolls extending from the center toward each side are beaded, the rest of the scrolls being plain. The base-section is supported on suitable feet a', having scrolls thereon in keeping with the design of said section.

' Mounted on the base is a foot-rail a2, also ornainented in keeping' with the base. The lire-pot section B is ornamented by a series of vertical ribs. The body-section O is orna- ;o inented by a series of interlaced scrolls. The

fire-door cis made in two parts c c?, the lower part c having a panel bordered by scrollwork, and below the panel are a series of interlaced scrolls. The upper section c2 of the door has a series of scrolls forming extensions of the scrolls on the lower part of the door.

Thedonie-section D has a plain wide band d at the base, having an undulating upper edge, and between this band and a plain band d are scrolls. The dome proper, d2, is of a forni in keeping with the main features of the design.

2. The design for a body portion of a heating-stove as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.

3. The design for the base of a heatingstove as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.

4. The design for the lire-door of aheatingstove as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.

5. The design for the ash-pit door of a heating-stove as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.
