SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,811, dated July 21, 1896. Application filed April 17, 1896. Serial No- 588,044. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, EDWARD AMBROSE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Troy, Rensselaer county, New York, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Heating-Stove, of which the following is a specification.

My design for a heating-stove is fully illus trated in the accompanying drawing, which represents the stove in perspective.

The essential features of the design are the quadrangular base, which supports the body, the ornamented columns at the corners of the body, and the doors and illuminated panels.

The base A has an ornamented band a of interlaced scrolls, and the apron of this basesection, as well as the feet, have scroll ornamentation thereon. Each apron has a fanlike center a, from each side of which extends a flaming scroll, and extending down each foot are elongated flame-like ribs.

The fire-pot section B is ornamented in keeping with the base of the stove and the ash-pit door b has leaf-like scrolls inclosin the damper-section, which is pebbled, as shown.

The body-section B of the stove has columns d, and on each column is an ornamental cap in keeping with the ornaments of the legs of the stove, and each column has transverse ribs some distance from the bottom, and on the upper and lower portions of the columns are leaf-like scrolls.

The two doors d d are barred, the fire-door 01 having also cross-bars, and extending from tral conventional design, on each side of which is a leaf-like scroll.

The dome of the stove is ornamented by scrollwork in keeping with the design of the bod The foot-rests have scrolls thereon.

I claim- 1. The design fora heating-stove as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.
