DESiGN FOR A LAMP-CHIMNEY.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,555, dated April 1, 1873; application tiled March 12, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, MARION J. \VELLMAN, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for a Lamp-Chimney and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, in which drawrug- Figure 1 represents a side view of my chimney. Fig. 2 is a central section of the same.

Similar letters indicate corresponding parts.

The distinguishing feature of this chimney is the Hat base of the bulb which surmounts the bottom flange and from which rise the upper part of the chimney with sides that are nearly straight or only slightly curved, the whole being so formed that a chimney is pro duced which has a novel and distinguishing appearance.

In the drawing, the letter A designates my chimney, the sides a of which are straight or only slightly curved and made to join the bulb b, the base 0 of which extends in a horizontal direction, or nearly so, from the bottom flange d.

The design for a lamp-chimney, as herein shown and described.
