DESIGN FOR A STOVE.

SPECIFIGATIGN forming part of Design No. 23,780, dated November 6, 1894. Application filed May 18, 1894, Serial No. 5111729. Term of patent 7 years.

To aZZ whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, S'rANHoPE BoAL, residing at Piqua, in the county of Miami and State of Ohio, have invented a. certain new and original Design for Stoves, of which the following is a specification.

The figure is a perspective view of a wood and coal cook stove showing my design.

One of the leading features of my design consists of rounded corners for a front frame plate the edges of which are iiush with the edges of the curved door the face of which is ornamented with my design.

The motive of the design is carried into each ornamental plate and part of the stove or range and it involves the use of scroll Work of the pattern shown.

Another feature of my design consists in the ornamental central portion of the oven door in imitation of an alligator skin.

c represents the scroll work on the base and leg frame a of the stove across which the scroll work extends of the form and pattern shown.

d represents the scroll work around the border of the oven door.

p represents the name plate or panel of the door. It is made of a separate piece and detachably connected with the door in the usual manner of attaching name plates placed inside of the bordering scroll. The border of this name plate is finished in imitation of an alligator skin within which border is usually placed the registers q, r.

e represents the scroll work of the side panel which extends around three sides of the border the central portion being plain.

g, m, represent the scroll work of the curved front frame terminating at the top central line l. 40

h, i, represent the scroll work of the front feed door, the scroll work on the front frame being continuous.

o represents the scroll work around the border of the reservoir bracket or plate. 45

n represents the center of the bracket which may be of plain or oval form.

I claim- 1. The design for a stove or range, substantially as herein shown and described.

2. In a stove or range the design for the leg and base frame, substantially as herein shown.

3. In a stove or range the design for the ash-pit plate substantially as herein shown. 5 5 4. In a stove or range the design for the side panel, substantially as herein shown.

5. The design for the front door frame of the stove, substantially as herein shown.

6. In a stove or range the design for the 6o front door, substantially as herein shown.

7. In a stove or range the design for the oven door, substantially as herein shown.
