Be it known that I, RUSSEL WHEELER, of the city of Utica, county of Oneida and State of New York, have invented a Design for Cook-Stoves, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration7 to which reference is made.

The photographic illustration shows a side and front elevation of a cook-stove with my design cast upon the oven-door A, and upon the door to the firebox B, forming a part ot' each.

The first part ol' my design consists in a compound ornament, a a, composed of scroliwork and bead-Work, as seen in the accompanying illustration; also, a somewhat similar compound ornament, b b, composed of scroll-Work and bead-Work, as seen in the illustration. The exact shape and form of these compound ornaments cannot be fully described, but are fully shown in the photographic illustration. The second part of my design consists in an ornamental border molding or moldings, composed of bead-Work c c o c, cast upon and forming a part of the ovcn-door and of the fire-box door. The border molding or moldings are near to and parallel with the edges of the doors or panels upon which the saine are cast. Both the first and second parts of my design are cast into and form parts of the plate of the stove, and thc Whole design is applicable to the side ofthe stove, doors, panels7 or the like, as is fully shown in the illustration.

l do not limit the application of my compound ornaments, or the border molding or moldings of bead-Work, to any particular kind of' stoves, nor to any particular part or portion thereof. I propose to use the said compound ornaments either' with or without thc said border molding or moldings.

W'hat I claim as my invention is- 1. The compound ornaments, cast upon and forming part of any stove, substantially as herein described and shown.

2. The combination of the compound ornaments with the ornamental border molding or moldings of bead-work, arranged together and cast upon any stove, and forming part thereof, substantially as herein described and shown.
