THOMAS F. HAMILTON, OF GENESEO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR STOVES.
Specification forming part of Design No. 7.710, dated August 25, 1874; application tiled July 23, 1874. [Term of Patent 7 years] To all when: it may concern Be it known that I, Tues. F. HAMILTON, of Geneseo, in the county of Henry and in the State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Steve; and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making a part of this specification, in which is shown a front elevation of my improved stove.
The principal feature of my invention consists in the design for the base of my stove, said base being formed by the bottom plate A, which is horizontal, and provided with a molded edge, a, and the ash-pit ll, that extends veriically upward to a point near the lower end of the tire-pot L, and then extends in a curve inward and upward to said fire-pot, and at the front side of such curved portion 1) is provided with a sliding damper, l), substantially as shown.
Another part of my invention consists in the design for the fire-pot section 0, which, from the upper end I) of the ash-pit B, extends outward, upward, and inward in a curve to a point near the upper section E, and from thence to the lower end of the latter has an upward, out-ward, and thence upward curve, substantially as shown.
Auotherand the last feature of my inveir tiou consists in the general design fora stove, the bottom plate A a, ash-pit B b, fire-pot O, damper I), and upper section E being eonstruetcd in the form shown.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new is- 1. The design for the base, composed of the bottom plate A a, ash-pit B b, and damper l), substantially as shown and described.
2. The design for the stove, composed ol the bottom plate A a, aslrpit B b, lire-pot L, damper l), and upper section E, substantially as shown and described.
