Abstract
Invenţia se referă la un procedeu pentru obţinerea escitalopramului, care este un medicament antidepresiv. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă din cristalizarea fracţionată a 4-[4-(dimetilamino)-1-(4'-fluorfenil)-1-hidroxibutil]-3-(hidroximetil)-benzonitrilului ca o sare cu acidul (+)-(S,S) sau (-)-(R,R)-O,O'-di-para-toluiol-tartric într-un sistem de solvenţi cuprinzând 1-propanol, etanol sau acetonitril, la o temperatură de 40...60°C, timp de până la 4 h, urmată de răcire până la o temperatură de 20...25°C, rezultând un produs cu o puritate enantiomerică de 90...99%.
