Abstract
Procedimiento de endurecimiento por láser de una superficie de un muñón de un cigüeñal, comprendiendo dicho muñón un área superficial que hay que endurecer, extendiéndose dicha área superficial en una primera dirección paralela con respecto a un eje de rotación del cigüeñal y en una segunda dirección que se corresponde con una dirección circunferencial del muñón. El procedimiento comprende: proyectar un haz de láser sobre dicha área superficial con el fin de producir un punto de láser eficaz que se extiende en dicha primera dirección, a lo largo de más de un 50% del muñón; generar un movimiento relativo entre la superficie del cigüeñal y la fuente de láser en dicha dirección circunferencial; adaptar una distribución de energía de tal modo que dicha distribución de energía es diferente cuando se calienta un área secundaria menos sensible al calor que cuando se calienta un área secundaria más sensible al calor.
