Abstract
Description
무선 통신 시스템에서는 무선 채널을 통해 액세스 포인트와 사용자 단말 사이의 데이터 통신이 일어난다. 시스템 설계에 의존하여, 동일하거나 상이한 주파수 대역들이 하향 링크와 상향 링크에 사용될 수 있다. 하향 링크(또는 순방향 링크)는 액세스 포인트로부터 사용자 단말로의 전송을 지칭하고, 상향 링크(또는 역방향 링크)는 사용자 단말로부터 액세스 포인트로의 전송을 지칭한다. 2개의 주파수 대역이 사용가능한 경우, 하향 링크와 상향 링크는 주파수 분할 이중화(Frequency Division Duplexing; FDD)를 사용하여 별개의 주파수 대역을 통해 전송될 수 있다. 단지 하나의 주파수 대역만이 사용될 수 있으면, 하향 링크와 상향 링크는 시분할 이중화(Time Division Duplexing; TDD)를 사용하여 동일한 주파수 대역을 공유할 수 있다.
