ここで、x、y、z、及びmは、下記数式(1)〜(4)を満足している。
0.02≦y≦0.20…(2)
0≦z≦0.05 …(3)
0.99≦m≦1.1…(4)
すなわち、本誘電体セラミックは、主成分が、ペロブスカイト型構造を有するBaTiO3系化合物で形成されると共に、BaサイトのBaの一部が所定モル範囲内でSn及びCaと置換されている。
上述したようにBaTiO3系化合物中にCaを含有させることにより、SnのBaサイトへの固溶を促進させることができる。例えば、1.0×10-10〜1.0×10-12MPa程度の低酸素分圧での焼成により、SnをBaサイトに固溶させることが可能となる。
BaTiO3のキュリー温度Tcは120℃であるが(非特許文献1)、SnをBaサイトに固溶させることにより、キュリー温度Tcを130℃以上に上昇させることが可能となる。
本誘電体セラミックでは、必要に応じてTiの一部をZrで置換してもよい。
BaサイトとTiサイトとのモル比mは、化学量論組成では1.00であるが、必要に応じて化学量論組成から変位させるのも好ましい。
また、X線回折装置を使用し、セラミック素体の表面にてX線回折を行い、室温におけるペロブスカイト結晶構造のc軸とa軸との軸比c/aを求めた。
Claims (6)
- 主成分が、一般式{(Ba1-x-yCaxSny)m(Ti1-zZrz)O3}で表されるペロブスカイト型化合物からなり、
前記x、y、z、及びmが、それぞれ
0.02≦x≦0.20、
0.02≦y≦0.20、
0≦z≦0.05、
0.99≦m≦1.1
を満足することを特徴とする誘電体セラミック。 - キュリー温度が130℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘電体セラミック。
- Mn及びVの少なくともいずれか一方の成分が、前記主成分100モル部に対し0.02〜2モル部含有されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の誘電体セラミック。
- Siが、前記主成分100モル部に対し0.02〜5モル部含有されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の誘電体セラミック。
- 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の誘電体セラミックで形成されたセラミック素体が導体を備えていることを特徴とするセラミック電子部品。
- セラミック層と内部電極とが交互に積層され焼結されてなるセラミック素体を有すると共に、該セラミック素体の両端部に外部電極が形成され、該外部電極と前記内部電極とが電気的に接続された積層セラミックコンデンサにおいて、
前記セラミック層が、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の誘電体セラミックで形成されていることを特徴とする積層セラミックコンデンサ。
