Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はポリ(パーフルオロアルキレンオキサイド)背
骨を有するビス−トリアルコキシシランの製造法に関す
る。
航空工業において、密閉剤、ガスケット、〇−リング、
固体発射薬結合剤、等は低温度可撓性、高温度安定性、
耐溶媒性、および熱および酸化安定性を持たなければな
らない。若干の上記性質を示す最近の先行技術の物質が
述べられているけれども、今まで、上記要求事項を満足
させかつさらに望ましい低温度可撓性を有する重合体は
提供されていない。
本発明は、極めて低いガラス転移湿度を有しかつ低温度
において可撓性であり、そして耐溶媒性および良好な加
水分解、熱および酸化安定性を有する新規な重合体の製
造のため極めて有用である新規な多官能末端ポリ(パー
フルオロアルキレンオキサイド)の背骨を有するビス−
トリアルコキシシランを提供する。
本発明に゛よるビス−トリアルコキシシランは式%式%
() (式中mおよびnは各々、不規則に分布されているノぐ
−フルオ四エチレンオキシおよびノぐ−フルオロメチレ
ンオキシ背骨反復側単位の数を示し、しかも比率rll
 / nはO02/1ないし5/1、好ましくは0.5
 / 1ないし2/1である)の背骨を有するエステル
末端またはアシル末端ポリパーフルオロアルキレンオキ
サイPをアミノプロピルアルコキシシランと反応させる
ことにより得られる。
本発明によるビス−トリアルコキシシラン化合物は50
0ないし20,000またはより高い、好ましくは80
0ないし15.000の範囲の数平均分子量醜を有し熱
安定性、耐溶媒性のポリシロキサンの製造のためホモ重
合または共重合される。
この♂スートリアルコキシシラン化合物のガラス転移温
度(Tg )は一般に一78°Cより低く、好ましくは
一100°Cより低く、そして−125°Cまたはさら
に低く、例えば−130°Cでありうる。
これらの有利に低いガラス転移温度はまたこの化合物か
ら造られた重合体の特性であり、そして化合物中の酸素
/弗素含有率を増加させることによりまたはポリ(パー
フルオロアルキレンオキサイド)セグメントの長さを増
加させることによりさらに下げることができる。
セグメント−末端基は通常かつ好ましくは一0F2−で
あるけれども、−C2Fじ、−C3F6−または類似の
パーフルオロアルキレン基を含有するセグメントをつく
ることができ、それは−0F2−末端セグメントと同一
の性質を本質的に有する。
本式(I)の背骨は、パーフルオロメチレン基を末端と
し、この末端基は非芳香族二重結合を含まない二価基に
よりパーフルオロメチレン基に結合された重合反応性基
を有する。
原料物質として用いられるエステル末端またはアシル末
端ポリパーフルオロアルキレンオキサイドの例としては
、−C000H3末端・化合物が包含され、これらの化
合物は、たとえばイタリー国特許第817,809号明
細書にその製造方法とともに記載されている。
本発明による代表的ビス−トリアルコキシシラン末端ポ
リパーフルオロアルキレンオキサイPには一0017H
(OH2)3811(OCH3)3末端ポリパーフルオ
ロアルキレンオキサイドがあり、これは−0000H3
末端先駆化合物をH2N(OH2) 3Si(OCH3
) 3と反応させることにより得ることができる。

    サイドを、アミノプロピルアルコキシシランと反応させ
