物品が容器又はボトルである場合、臨界垂直荷重、光沢20°、不透明度、及び分光測光の測定は全て、物品から取り外されたサンプルパネルで行った。長さ100mm及び幅約50mmの寸法を有するサンプルを、物品壁の主要部分から切り取り、肩部/ネック及び底部領域から少なくとも50mm離れて切り取る。
ボトルから取り出したときにサンプルが容易に層間剥離した場合、サンプルには「臨界垂直荷重」に対して0Nのスコアが与えられる。無傷のままであるサンプルについては、スクラッチ試験手順(ASTM D7027−13/ISO 19252:08)に従って、Surface Machine Systems社のScratch 5を使用して、直径1mmの球形チップ、初期荷重:1N、最終荷重:125N、スクラッチ速度:10mm/s、及びスクラッチ長さ100mmを使用してスクラッチ誘発損傷を受ける。100mmより小さいサンプルについては、初期荷重及び最終荷重を同じに維持しながら、スクラッチ長さを減少させることができる。これにより、臨界垂直荷重の推定値が提供される。この推定値を使用して、追加のサンプルを狭い荷重範囲で実行し、臨界垂直荷重をより正確に判断できる。
光沢20°は、ASTM D 2457/D523に従って、20マイクロ−トリ−グロス(BYK−Gardner社)の光沢計で測定される。各ポイントを3回測定し、平均を計算して光沢20°を決定する。全ての光沢測定は、「ベースブラック」と呼ばれる黒い背景で行われた。ベースブラックは、X−Riteグレースケールバランスカード(45×45 L*a*b*21.077 0.15−0.29)の黒色領域である。Micro−Tri Gloss計によって与えられる測定値は、「光沢単位」を表す単位「GU」を有する。
特定の位置での壁厚は、直径1/8インチのターゲットボールを使用するOlympus Magna−Mike(登録商標)8600を使用して測定された。各位置で3回の測定を行い、局所壁厚を決定するために平均を計算した。
方法1:Surftest SJ−210(Mitutoyo America Corporation)などの可携帯型表面粗さ試験機を使用して、サンプルパネルをRa(算術平均高さ)について分析し、ボトルの高さを均等にする。粗さは、μin単位で測定される。
不透明度は、直径3mmの開口を有するX−rite 341C(X−Rite社)などの携帯型濃度計を使用して、ボトルの切り取り部分で測定する。絶対光学密度(D)を測定し、D=−log10Tで透過率(T)に変換し、式中、%不透明度は100−%Tであり、5.00の光学密度(D)=100%不透明であり、0.00=0%不透明である。各ポイントを3回測定し、平均を計算して%不透明度を決定する。

壁の外面と、内面との間に配置された少なくとも1つのB層と、
壁の外面と、内面とを形成する少なくとも2つのA層と、を含む少なくとも3つの層を含み、
B層はA層の間に位置しており、
効果顔料又は不透明化顔料は、A層を通して見ることができる、段落Aに記載の物品。
内面と外面とを有する壁によって規定されるネックを含むボトルであり、
ネックは色のグラデーションを含まず、
ネックの外面の一部はA層を含み、ネックの外面の一部はB層を更に含む、段落A〜Mに記載される物品。
a.予備的形成品を製造するための予備的形成品金型を提供することと、
b.溶融熱可塑性樹脂を含むストリーム−aを、流量−aで予備的形成品金型に注入することと、
c.ストリーム−aの注入の0〜2秒以内に、溶融熱可塑性樹脂及び効果顔料及び/又は不透明化顔料を含むストリーム−bを、初期流量−bで予備的形成品金型に注入することと、
d.流量−bを加速して、流量−aよりも速くすることと、
e.ストリーム−bをストリーム−aに吹き込み、ストリーム−bをストリーム−aの外側に流すことと、
f.冷却して、外面を含む予備的形成品を形成し、外面の少なくとも一部は、外見のグラデーション及び/又は表面のグラデーションを生成する凝固したストリーム−bを含むことと、
g.予備的形成品をブロー成形して、段落A〜Tの物品を形成することと、を含む、方法。
Claims (14)
- ブロー成形多層物品であって、
長さ、ネック、基部、内面及び外面を含む壁によって画定される中空体を含み、
前記壁の少なくとも第1の部分は、前記外面及び前記内面を形成する少なくとも2つのA層及び少なくとも2つのB層を含む少なくとも5つの層を含み、
前記A層は透明であり、着色された染料又は顔料を含んでもよく、
前記B層は効果顔料及び/又は不透明化顔料を含み、
前記A層及びB層は熱可塑性樹脂を含み、
前記外面は、前記A層及びB層からの成分によって形成された、軸方向の色のグラデーション及び/又は軸方向の光沢のグラデーションを含み、
前記壁の少なくとも第2の部分が、
前記壁の前記外面と前記内面との間に配置された少なくとも1つのB層であって、前記ネックから前記基部まで前記壁の前記長さ全体にわたり延在する、前記B層と、
前記壁の前記外面と前記内面とを形成する少なくとも2つのA層と、を含む少なくとも3つの層を含み、
前記B層は前記A層の間に位置しており、
前記効果顔料、又は、前記不透明化顔料は、前記A層を通して見ることができる、

- 前記物品は、内面と外面とを有する前記壁によって規定されるネックを含むボトルであり、
前記ネックは色のグラデーションを含まず、
前記ネックの前記外面の一部はA層を含み、
前記ネックの前記外面の一部はB層を更に含む、
請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。 - 前記第1の部分が、表面粗さ測定方法に従って測定した場合、20μin(0.508μm)〜42μin(1.0668μm)、又は、25μin(0.635μm)〜40μin(1.016μm)、又は、28μin(0.7112μm)〜38μin(0.9652μm)の表面粗さを有するつや消し領域である、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。
- 前記物品が、70%〜95%の不透明度を含み、
不透明度試験方法に従って測定した場合、前記不透明度が、前記物品の長さにわたって25%未満変化する、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。 - 臨界垂直荷重法に従って測定した場合、前記物品が、100Nを超える、又は、105を超える、又は、110を超える臨界垂直荷重を有した、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。
- 前記効果顔料が真珠光沢顔料であり、
前記効果顔料が0.01重量%〜10重量%の前記B層を含む、
請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。 - 前記壁が、局所壁厚法に従って測定した場合、250μm〜1mm、又は、400μm〜600μm、又は、450μm〜575μmの厚さを含み、前記壁パネルの平均厚さは、前記物品の前記長さにわたって30%未満変化する、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。
- 前記物品が、非円筒形状を含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品。

a.予備的形成品を製造するための予備的形成品金型を提供することと、
b.溶融熱可塑性樹脂を含むストリーム−aを、流量−aで前記予備的形成品金型に注入することと、
c.ストリーム−aの注入の0〜2秒以内に、前記溶融熱可塑性樹脂及び効果顔料及び/又は不透明化顔料を含むストリーム−bを、初期流量−bで前記予備的形成品金型に注入することと、
d.前記流量−bを加速して、流量−aよりも速くすることと、
e.ストリーム−bをストリーム−aに吹き込み、ストリーム−bをストリーム−aの外側に流すことと、
f.冷却して、外面を含む予備的形成品を形成し、前記外面の少なくとも一部は、外見のグラデーション及び/又は表面のグラデーションを生成する凝固したストリーム−bを含むことと、
g.前記予備的形成品をブロー成形して、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載のブロー成形多層物品を形成することと、
を含む、方法。
