Claims (7)
- 中空ばねの製造方法であって、
中空ばねに用いる鋼管を提供し、前記鋼管は、所定の形状に曲げ加工され、熱処理されている工程と、
前記曲げ加工及び熱処理の工程の後に、前記鋼管において第1開口と第2開口との間で管内に粘弾性を有する研磨メディアを流して管の内面を研磨する工程と
を含み、管の内面の全体にわたり表面粗さを低減し、及び/又は、圧縮残留応力を付与することにより疲労寿命を向上させる方法。 - 前記研磨する工程は、前記鋼管の第1開口から第2開口に向けて前記研磨メディアを流す工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記研磨メディアを流す工程は、供給源から前記鋼管の第1開口に前記研磨メディアを供給することをさらに含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記研磨する工程は、前記鋼管の第1開口から第2開口に向けて前記研磨メディアを流す第1工程と、前記第2開口から前記第1開口に向けて前記研磨メディアを流す第2工程とを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1工程は、供給源から前記鋼管の第1開口に前記研磨メディアを供給するとともに、前記鋼管の第2開口から前記研磨メディアを前記供給源に回収し、前記第2工程は、供給源から前記鋼管の第2開口に前記研磨メディアを供給するとともに、前記鋼管の第1開口から前記研磨メディアを前記供給源に回収する請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記研磨メディアは、粘弾性を有する母材と、粒子状の研磨剤とを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって製造された中空ばね。
