2(PO4)3(0≦f≦2);Li3−fFe2(PO4)3(0≦f≦2);LiFePO4の化学式のうちいずれか一つで表される化合物を使用することができる:
正極活物質として、0.45LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2−0.55Li2MnO3組成の複合正極活物質粉末と、炭素導電剤(Super−P、Timcal Ltd)とを、90:5の重量比で均一に混合した後、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)・バインダ溶液を添加し、活物質:炭素導電剤:バインダ=90:5:5の重量比になるようにスラリーを製造した。15μm厚のアルミニウムホイルの上に、前記活物質スラリーをコーティングした後、乾燥させて圧延して正極を製造した。
前記実施例1で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:65:10に変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:45:30に変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:15:60に変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:5:70に変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:55:20に変更し、トリストリメチルシリルホスフェートが添加されないことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質で、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びフルオロエーテルの混合比率を、25:45:30に変更し、トリストリメチルシリルホスフェートが添加されないことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、2.0重量%のリチウムビスオキサレートボレート(LiFOB)をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、2.0重量%のビニルカーボネート(VC)をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、2.0重量%のプロパンスルトン(PS)をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、2.0重量%のスクシノニトリル(SN)をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、0.5重量%のLiBF4をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、2.0重量%のヘキサメチルジシラザンをさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例3で使用された電解質に、電解質全体重量を基準に、0.5重量%のLiBF4、2重量%のプロパンスルトン(PS)、及び1重量%のスクシノニトリル(SN)をさらに添加したことを除いては、前記実施例3と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で使用された電解質で、フルオロエーテルを使用せず、フルオロエチレンカーボネートとジメチルカーボネートとの混合比率を25:75に変更して混合溶媒を使用し、トリストリメチルシリルホスフェートを添加しないことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様に実施して、リチウム電池を製造した。
前記実施例1〜14及び比較例1で製造したリチウム電池に対して、下記のように寿命特性を評価した。
容量維持率[%]=[各サイクルでの放電容量/最初のサイクルでの放電容量]×100

Claims (18)
- 層状構造を有する過リチウム化されたリチウム遷移金属酸化物を含む正極と、
シリコン系負極活物質を含む負極と、
前記正極及び負極の間に介在され、非水電解液全体体積を基準として、フッ素系エーテル溶媒を3体積%以上含む電解質と、を含み、
前記過リチウム化されたリチウム遷移金属酸化物が、下記化学式1で表示される化合物を含むことを特徴とするリチウム電池:

前記化学式1で、0<x<1であり、
Mは、平均酸化数+4を有する、4周期及び5周期の遷移金属から選択される少なくとも1つの金属であり、
M’は、平均酸化数+3を有する、4周期及び5周期の遷移金属から選択される少なくとも1つの金属である。 - 前記フッ素系エーテル溶媒は、下記化学式6ないし8で表示される化合物のうち、少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池:

前記化学式6で、Rf1及びRf2は、それぞれ独立して、少なくとも1つの水素がフルオロ基で置換された、C1−C12線形または分岐型のフルオロアルキル基である;

前記化学式7で、Rf1は、少なくとも1つの水素がフルオロ基で置換された、C1−C12線形または分岐型のフルオロアルキル基であり、Rは、C1−C12線形または分枝型のアルキル基である;

前記化学式8で、Rf1及びRf2は、それぞれ独立して、少なくとも1つの水素がフルオロ基で置換された、C1−C12線形または分枝型のフルオロアルキル基であり、R’は、C1−C5線形または分岐型のアルキレン基であり、nは、1ないし5の整数である。 - 前記Rf1またはRf2は、それぞれ独立して、HCF2−、CF3−、HCF2CF2−、CH3CF2−、CF3CH2−、CF3CF2−、(CF3)2CH−、HCF2CF2CH2−、CF3CH2CH2−、HCF2CF2CF2CH2−、HCF2CF2CF2CF2CH2−、CF3CF2CH2−、CF3CFHCF2CH2−、HCF2CF(CF3)CH2−及びCF3CF2CH2CH2−からなる群から選択されるフルオロアルキル基であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記Rは、−CH3、−C2H5、−C3H7及び−CH(CH3)CH3からなる群から選択されるアルキル基であることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記R’は、−CH2−、−CH2CH2−及び−CH2CH2CH2−からなる群から選択されるアルキレン基であることを特徴とする請求項2から4の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記フッ素系エーテル溶媒は、HCF2CF2CH2OCF2CF2H、HCF2CF2CH2OCF2CH3、CF3CF2CH2OCF2CF2H、CF3CF2CH2OCF2H、HCF2CF2OCH2CF3、HCF2CF2CH2OCF2CFHCF3、CF3CF2CH2OCF2CFHCF3、HCF2CF2CH2OCH2CFHCF3、CF3CF2CH2OCH2CFHCF3、HCF2CF2CH2OCH3、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記フッ素系エーテル溶媒の含量が、非水電解液全体体積を基準として、3ないし70体積%範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記フッ素系エーテル溶媒の含量が、非水電解液全体体積を基準として、10体積%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記フッ素系エーテル溶媒の含量が、非水電解液全体体積を基準として、10ないし70体積%であることを特徴とする請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記電解質は、トリス(トリメチルシリル)ホスフェート(TMSPa)、リチウムジフルオロオキサレートボレート(LiFOB)、ビニルカーボネート(VC)、プロパンスルトン(PS)、スクシノニトリル(SN)、LiBF4、シラン化合物、シラザン化合物、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択された添加剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から9の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- それぞれの前記シラン化合物及び前記シラザン化合物は、シロキサン結合を形成する官能基を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記官能基は、アクリル基、アミノ基、エポキシ基、メトキシ基、エトキシ基及びビニル基からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記添加剤の含量が、電解質全体重量に対して、0.01ないし10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項10から12の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記非水電解液は、カーボネート系化合物、エステル系化合物、エーテル系化合物、ケトン系化合物、アルコール系化合物、非プロトン性溶媒、またはそれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から13の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記カーボネート系化合物は、鎖型カーボネート化合物、環形カーボネート化合物、フルオロカーボネート化合物、またはそれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記非水電解液が、非水電解液全体体積を基準として、1ないし30体積%のフルオロカーボネート化合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から15の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記非水電解液が、フッ素系エーテル溶媒10〜70体積%、フルオロカーボネート化合物10〜30体積%、及び鎖型カーボネート化合物0〜80体積%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から16の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記シリコン系負極活物質は、例えば、Si、SiOx(0<x<2)、Si−Z合金(ここで、前記Zは、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属、13族元素、14族元素、15族元素、16族元素、遷移金属、希土類元素、またはそれらの組み合わせ元素であり、Siではない)、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から17の何れか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
