Description
a) 少なくとも好ましくは平滑なプラスチックフィルム、接着防止層、及び印刷可能層を含み、又はこれらによって構成されており、該接着防止層が、該プラスチックフィルムと該印刷可能層との間に位置している多層構造を調製又は提供し;
b) 基材の界面、及び/又は該プラスチックフィルムとは反対側に位置した該多層構造の界面に接着剤を塗布し、及び該基材の前記界面を、該多層構造の前記界面に当接して、該多層構造と該基材とを積層させ;及び
c) 該印刷可能層から該プラスチックフィルムを剥がして、該印刷可能層が、該シートの前記平滑面又は超平滑面を定める、工程を含むことを特徴とする。

b) 基材の界面、及び/又は該プラスチックフィルムとは反対側に位置した該多層構造の界面に接着剤を塗布し、及び該基材の前記界面を、該多層構造の前記界面に当接して、該多層構造と該基材とを積層させ;及び
c) 流延塗工のための該層から該プラスチックフィルムを剥がして、該印刷可能層が、該シートの前記平滑面を定める、工程を含む方法も提供する。
オフセット印刷可能な平滑又は超平滑シートの調製
軽量紙又は比較的に嵩の大きい紙からのオフセット印刷可能な平滑又は超平滑シートの調製
プレコーティングされた支持紙からのオフセット印刷可能な平滑又は超平滑シートの調製
オフセット印刷可能な平滑又は超平滑着色シートの調製
オフセット印刷可能で、表面抵抗率の小さい平滑又は超平滑シートの調製
インクジェット印刷のための平滑又は超平滑シートの調製
・坪量は、最大で2220グラム(g)の重量を示すSartorius(登録商標)スケールの手段によって、0.1gの精度で、ISO 536 (1976)規格を用いて計測が行われた;
・厚みは、MTS MI20マイクロメータの手段によって、ISO 534 (1988)規格を用いて計測が行われた;
・嵩(又は、単位重量当たりの体積)は、NFQ 03-017規格を用いて計測が行われた;
・ベック平滑度は、Buchel(登録商標)131 ED装置の手段によって、ISO 5627 (1984)規格を用いて計測が行われた;
・光沢度は、Byk-Gardner(登録商標)マイクロ-光沢度75°モデル4553装置の手段によって、TAPPI(登録商標)T480 om-92法を用いて、75°で計測が行われた;
・表面抵抗率は、フィリップスPM2525マルチメーター装置の手段によって、ASTM D257-83法を用いて計測が行われた;
・オフセット印刷適性は、CTP No.9法を用いるポロメトリックインク吸収試験によって評価がされた;この「ポロメトリックインク」試験は、紙の吸収能力、及び該紙へのインクの浸透速度を正確に計測する役割を果たしており;黒色染料を用いて調合された特殊なインクを紙に落とし、及びインクの挙動を経時的に観察することを基本としている;及び
・インクジェット印刷試験は、Epson 2400及びCanon ip 8500インクジェットプリンターを用いて実施がされた。
印刷可能な樹脂又はワニスを含む平滑又は超平滑な印刷可能シートの調製
オフセット印刷、インジゴ印刷、又は、導電性インクを用いた印刷に適している平滑又は超平滑な印刷可能シートの調製
Claims (16)
- 少なくとも一つの平滑面(22)を有する、オフセット印刷、インクジェット印刷、レーザー印刷、グラビア印刷、フレキソ印刷、ドライトナー印刷、液体トナー印刷、電子写真術、及び/又はリソグラフィーによって印刷可能なシート(10)の製造方法であって、該シートが、単一の層又は重なり合った複数の層の少なくとも一部を覆っている少なくとも一つの界面を有する紙製の基材(24)を含み、該方法が:
a) 少なくとも平滑なプラスチックフィルム(14)、接着防止層(16)、及び印刷可能層(18)を含み、又はこれらによって構成されており、該接着防止層が、該プラスチックフィルムと該印刷可能層との間に位置している多層構造(12)を調製又は提供し;
b) 基材の界面(30)、及び/又は該プラスチックフィルムとは反対側に位置した該多層構造の界面(28)に接着剤を塗布し、及び該基材の前記界面を、該多層構造の前記界面に当接して、該多層構造と該基材とを積層させ;及び
c) 該印刷可能層から該プラスチックフィルムを剥がして、該印刷可能層(18)が、該シートの前記平滑面(22)を定める、工程を含み、
該印刷可能層が、顔料及び少なくとも一つのバインダー、又は印刷可能なワニスを含み、ここで、該バインダー又は印刷可能なワニスが、アクリルポリマー、ポリウレタン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、スチレンブタジエン、酢酸ビニル、ポリアミド、ニトロセルロース若しくはその他のセルロース、ポリビニルアルコール、澱粉又はこれらの混合物を含み、
該印刷可能層が、シリコーン系物質を含まず、かつ、
該シート(10)の平滑面(22)が、900sよりも大きいベック平滑度を有することを特徴とする、前記方法。 - 前記印刷可能層(18)が、工程b)及び/又は工程c)において、固体状態であり、及び/又は、乾燥していることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記基材(24)が、紙;透写紙;カード用紙;及び、コート紙或いはプレコート紙から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記紙が、1.10cm3/gと同等或いはそれ以上の嵩を有することを特徴とする、請求項3記載の方法。
- 工程b)に先駆けて、前記基材の界面が、一つ以上の熱可塑性ポリマー、又は顔料と少なくとも一つのバインダーとの混合物を含む少なくとも一つの平滑層でプレコーティングされていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程b)に先駆けて、前記基材のプレコーティングされた層が、その平滑度を改善するためにカレンダー仕上げされていることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチックフィルム(14)が、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET);ポリエチレン(PE);ポリプロピレン(PP);ポリ乳酸(PLA)を基にしたポリマー;又は、セルロースを基にしたポリマーから作られたフィルムから選択されるフィルムであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記接着防止層(16)が、シリコーン;シロキサン;ポリシロキサン、又はこれらの誘導体;ウェルナー錯体;又は以下の蝋:ポリエチレン、プロピレン、ポリウレタン、ポリアミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、又はこれらの混合物を基にしていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程c)において、前記プラスチックフィルム(14)が剥がされている間に、前記接着防止層(16)の少なくともその一部が、前記印刷可能層(18)から剥がされることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程c)において、前記プラスチックフィルム(14)が剥がされている時に、前記接着防止層(16)が、前記印刷可能層(18)にとどまっていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記多層構造(12')が、前記印刷可能層(18)の前記プラスチックフィルム(14)とは反対側に設けられた少なくとも一つの増設層(34)を含み、前記増設層の自由界面、又は該プラスチックフィルムから最も離間した増設層の自由界面が、工程b)において、接着剤が塗布され、及び前記基材の界面に対して当接されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記シート(10)を、電気的及び/又は光学的特性を有するインクで印刷をすることからなる追加工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記シート(10)の平滑面(22)が、70%よりも大きい光沢度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記印刷可能層(18)が、30μm以下の厚み、及び/又は30g/m2以下の坪量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程a)に先駆けて、エッチングによって、前記接着防止層及び前記印刷可能層を受け入れる前記プラスチックフィルムの界面に窪み及び/又は突起のある模様を設けることからなる予備工程を含み、前記印刷可能層が、前記プラスチックフィルムの界面に圧痕を取り込むために、これら模様の形状と密着していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程b)において、前記接着剤が、前記基材の少なくとも一つの界面に塗布され、及び塗布した接着剤の厚みが、前記基材の界面での平均粗度の少なくとも半分であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項記載の方法。
