Description
(2)ISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの鏡面金型を用いて製造された成形品表面の中心線平均粗さが5.0〜20.0nmである(1)のポリエステル樹脂組成物、
(3)球状無機充填材(D)が硫酸バリウム(D−1)および/または酸化チタン(D−2)である(1)または(2)のポリエステル樹脂組成物、
(4)ポリエステル樹脂組成物全体を100重量%として、離型剤(E)を0.001〜5.0重量%含む(1)〜(3)のいずれかのポリエステル樹脂組成物、
(5)離型剤(E)がモンタン酸を3価のアルコールでエステル化したモンタン酸複合エステルワックスである(4)のポリエステル樹脂組成物、
(6)(1)〜(5)のいずれかのポリエステル樹脂組成物を用いて製造された成形品であって、表面の一部または全体に金属蒸着膜が形成され、該金属蒸着膜と該成形品の表面が接している光反射体、を提供するものである。
本発明で用いられるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)は、o−クロロフェノール溶液を25℃で測定したときの固有粘度が0.36〜1.60、特に0.52〜1.25の範囲にあるものが好適である。固有粘度が0.36未満では機械的特性が不良となり、一方、固有粘度が1.60を越えると成形性が不良になる傾向がある。
(1)表面粗さ<中心線平均粗さ(Ra)>の評価
シリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃の条件で、金型鏡面部分のISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの鏡面金型で射出成形した鏡面角板の鏡面部分の任意の10箇所をミツトヨ(株)製の表面粗さ測定器”SURFTEST−500”にて、ISO3274に規定されている中心線平均粗さRaを測定し、平均したものである。数値が低いほど、表面平滑性が優れている。
(2)直接金属蒸着性の評価
シリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃の条件で、金型鏡面部分のISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの鏡面金型で射出成形した鏡面角板を島津製作所(株)製真空蒸着装置E−250A形にて、アルミを直接蒸着し、目視で確認して、表面に全く曇りがなく非常に輝度感に優れているものを◎◎、表面に全く曇りがなく輝度感を有するものを◎、一部に曇りがあるが輝度感に支障がないものを○、全体が曇っており輝度感に劣るものを×とした。
(3)高温暴露後の輝度感の評価
上記の光反射体を160℃×72時間高温暴露したあと、直接金属蒸着性と同様に目視評価した。
(4)離型性の評価
シリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で、鏡面角板を射出成形により作成する際に、エジェクターピンが板に食い込んでいないもの、スプルーちぎれがないものを○、エジェクターピンが板に食い込んでいるが、スプルーちぎれはなく著しい変形は生じないものを△、スプルーちぎれがあるものを×とした。
(5)耐衝撃性の評価(衝撃強度)
厚み3.0mmのアイゾット衝撃試験用テストピースをシリンダー温度260℃、金型温度80℃の条件で射出成形し試料に用いた。ASTM D256に準拠してノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度を測定した。
(7)剛性の評価(曲げ弾性率)
ASTM D790に準拠する方法で評価を行なった。試験片は厚さ3.2mmのものを用い、その成形条件はシリンダー温度260℃、金型温度80℃である。
(A−1) ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂:東レ(株)製 ”トレコン 1200S”、固有粘度1.25、クロロホルム抽出量0.6%(以下、PBTとも称する。)
(A−2) ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂:東レ(株)製 ” トレコン 1100S”、固有粘度0.89、クロロホルム抽出量1.05%(以下、PBTとも称する。)
(A−3) ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂:固有粘度1.25、クロロホルム抽出量0.15%(以下、PBTとも称する。)
(B−1) ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂:東レ(株)製”TSB900”、固有粘度0.90(以下、PETとも称する。)
(C−1) 焼成カオリン:林化成(株)製”トランスリンク77”、平均粒子径=0.8μm、ビニルトリエトキシシラン表面処理
(C−2) 焼成カオリン:林化成(株)製”サチントンW”、平均粒子径=1.4μm、表面処理無し
(D−1) 硫酸バリウム:堺化学(株)製”B−55”、平均粒子径=0.66μm
(D−2) 酸化チタン:石原産業(株)製”CR−63”、平均粒子径=0.21μm、塩素法により製造した、アルミナ水和物およびケイ酸水和物の2種類を処理剤として使用したルチル形の酸化チタン。
(E−1) モンタン酸複合エステルワックス:クラリアントジャパン(株)製”リコルブWE40”
(E−2) モンタン酸エステルワックス:クラリアントジャパン(株)製”リコワックスOP”
(F) 芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂:出光化学(株)製”A1900”、数平均分子量19000(以下、PCとも称する。)
(G) タルク:富士タルク(株)製”LMS300”、平均粒子径=1.0μm
(H−1) 未焼成カオリン:林化成(株)製”ASP200”平均粒子径=0.4μm、表面処理無し
(H−2) 未焼成カオリン:林化成(株)製”ASP400”、平均粒子径=4.8μm、表面処理無し
実施例1〜8
(A)から(E)を表1に示す組合せで配合した。
各実施例に記載した材料の製造方法は次の通りである。すなわち、シリンダー温度250℃に設定したスクリュー径57mmφの2軸押出機を用いて製造した。(A)〜(E)、並びにその他添加剤全てを元込め部から供給して溶融混練を行い、ダイスから吐出されたストランドを冷却バス内で冷却した後、ストランドカッターにてペレット化した。得られた各ペレットは、130℃の熱風乾燥機で3時間以上乾燥した後、前記評価方法記載の方法を用いて成形し、評価を行なった。
比較例1〜10
実施例9
実施例1の樹脂組成物を用いて、シリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃、金型鏡面部分のISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの条件で射出成形した鏡面角板を島津製作所(株)製真空蒸着装置E−250A形にてアルミを直接蒸着し、表面に金属蒸着膜が形成され、該金属蒸着膜と該成形品の表面が接している光反射体を作製した。この光反射体を目視で確認した結果、表面に全く曇りはなく、自動車用ランプにおけるハウジング、リフレクター、エクステンションや家電照明器具等などとして好適なものであった。
実施例10
実施例1の樹脂組成物を用いて、シリンダー温度270℃、金型温度80℃で、金型鏡面部分のISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの鏡面金型を用いて、射出成形した鏡面角板にプライマー塗布し、島津製作所(株)製真空蒸着装置E−250A形にて、アルミを蒸着し、目視で確認した結果、実施例9と同等の外観であり、直接金属蒸着とプライマー塗布後の蒸着後の外観に差異は認められなかった。
Claims (6)
- ポリエステル樹脂組成物全体を100重量%として、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)30〜80重量%、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(B)10〜40重量%、ビニルシラン化合物で表面処理された平均粒径が1.5μm以下の焼成カオリン(C)1〜30重量%、球状無機充填材(D)1〜30重量%からなるポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- ISO3274に規定された中心線平均粗さが1.0nmの鏡面金型を用いて製造された成形品表面の中心線平均粗さが5.0〜20.0nmである、請求項1記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 球状無機充填材(D)が硫酸バリウム(D−1)および/または酸化チタン(D−2)である請求項1〜2のいずれかに記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- ポリエステル樹脂組成物全体を100重量%として、離型剤(E)を0.001〜5.0重量%含む請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 離型剤(E)がモンタン酸を3価のアルコールでエステル化したモンタン酸複合エステルワックスである請求項4に記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のポリエステル樹脂組成物を用いて製造された成形品であって、表面の一部または全体に金属蒸着膜が形成され、該金属蒸着膜と該成形品の表面が接している光反射体。
