Description
前記ポリブチレンテレフタレート(polybutylene terephthalate、PBT)は、ブチレンテレフタレートユニットを主たる構成ユニットとするポリエステル樹脂を意味し、ブチレンテレフタレートユニットのみから構成されるポリブチレンテレフタレートホモポリマーおよびブチレンテレフタレートユニットと他の構成ユニットとを含むポリブチレンテレフタレート共重合体の両方を意味する。具体的には前記ポリブチレンテレフタレートは、ポリブチレンテレフタレートの全ポリエステルの構成ユニットを100モル%として、ブチレンテレフタレートユニットを60〜100モル%、好ましくは80〜100モル%、より好ましくは90〜100モル%含む。
前記タルク(talc)は、無機充填剤の一種であって、マグネシウムシリケート水和物である滑石を意味する。前記タルクの化学式は、Mg3(OH)2Si4O10であり、屈折率は、1.53〜1.56であり、形態は、鱗状、葉片状、または板状でありうる。前記タルクは、ケイ酸および酸化マグネシウムと共に少量の(好ましくは0.01〜2.5重量%)酸化アルミニウム、酸化カルシウム、および/または酸化鉄などを含むことができる。前記タルクは、商業的に販売される製品を使用することができる。
前記エチレンアクリル酸系共重合体は、エチレンアクリル酸共重合体およびエチレンアクリル酸エステル共重合体の両方を意味する。
前記ポリエステル樹脂組成物は、物性間の均衡を保つために、または最終用途の必要に応じて、1種以上のその他添加剤をさらに含むことができる。具体的に、前記その他添加剤としては、難燃剤、界面活性剤、核剤、カップリング剤、充填剤、可塑剤、衝撃補強剤、滑剤、抗菌剤、離型剤、酸化防止剤、無機物添加剤、着色剤、静電気防止剤、顔料、染料、防炎剤、熱安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、紫外線遮断剤、接着剤などが用いられ、これらは単独または2種以上を組み合わせて用いられ得る。
下記表1に示したそれぞれの成分を下記量(重量部)で混合して押出および加工してペレット形態のポリエステル樹脂組成物を製造した。押出は、スクリュー軸長(L)に対するスクリュー軸直径(D)の比(L/D)=29、スクリュー軸直径(D)=45mmである二軸押出機を使用し、バレル温度は240℃に設定した。
(A−1)30℃での粘度が0.83±0.015dl/gであるポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT、SHINKONG社製)を使用した。
(A−2)30℃での粘度が1.10±0.02dl/gであるポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT、SHINKONG社製)を使用した。
(A−3)30℃での粘度が0.78±0.02dl/gであるポリエチレンテレフタレートグリコール(PETG、SKケミカル社製)を使用した。
(A−4)30℃での粘度が0.77±0.02dl/gであるポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET、SKケミカル社製)を使用した。
(B−1)平均粒径(直径)が1.0μmであるタルク(HAYASHIKASEI社製)を使用した。
(B−2)平均粒径(直径)が1.0μmであるカオリン(AUSTRALIAN CHINACLAYS社製)を使用した。
(C−1)エチレンアクリル酸共重合体(ALLIED CORP社製、AC−540A)を使用した。
(C−2)脂肪酸エステルネオペンチルポリオール(N.O.F社製、UNISTER H−476を使用した。
(C−3)ペルフルオロポリエチレン(DUPONT社製、FLUOROGUARD PCA)を使用した。
前記製造されたペレット形態の樹脂またはこれを用いた射出成形品試験片に対して下記の物性を評価してその結果を下記表2に示した。
前記製造されたペレットを透明密閉容器に入れて250℃で3時間加熱し、前記透明密閉容器での加熱前後のヘイズ変化を測定した。なお、ヘイズは上記計算式1により計算し、フォギング試験した時のヘイズ変化(%)は(フォギング試験後のヘイズ値)/(フォギング試験前のヘイズ値)×100から算出した。ヘイズ変化が低いほど揮発物質が少ないことを示す。
前記製造された射出成形品試験片に対してASTM D648−07により熱変形温度(HDT)を測定した(0.45MPa荷重)。
前記製造された9cm×5cm×0.2cmの大きさの射出成形品試験片に対して表面測定器を用いて表面粗度(Ra)を測定した。表面粗度(Ra)は、Veeco社製のWYKO NT1100 optical profilerを用いて測定した。表面粗度(Ra)が低いほど成形品の表面平滑度に優れていることを示す。
カップ形状の金型を用いて前記製造されたペレットでカップ形状の成形品を射出成形する場合、取り出し(イジェクト)時に離型ピンにかかる力(N)をセンサーを用いて測定した。発生する力が低いほど離型性に優れていることを示す。
Claims (3)
- (A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート100重量部、
前記ポリブチレンテレフタレート(A)100重量部に対して
(B)タルク0.01〜1重量部、および
(C)エチレンアクリル酸系共重合体0.01〜1重量部、
を含むポリエステル樹脂組成物を用いた成形品であって、
前記ポリエステル樹脂組成物中に含まれるポリエステルの総重量に対して前記ポリブチレンテレフタレート(A)以外のポリエステルが10重量%未満であり、
前記タルク(B)の平均粒径は、0.1〜10μmであり、
前記成形品を250℃/3時間の条件でフォギング試験した時のヘイズ変化は、0.1〜4.0%であり、
前記成形品の表面粗度(Ra)は、1〜20nmであり、
前記成形品の熱変形温度(HDT)は、180〜190℃である、成形品。 - 前記ポリブチレンテレフタレート(A)の30℃の温度における粘度は、0.6〜1.5dl/gである、請求項1に記載の成形品。
- 前記成形品は、車両用ヘッドランプベゼル、またはリフレクターである、請求項1または2に記載の成形品。
