resumo materiais nanocompósitos de pet e recipientes preparados a partir dos mesmos trata-se de materiais nanocompósitos pet que apresentam propriedades físicas melhoradas em um compósito de pet, como resultado da intercalação de materiais de argila de tipo não-smectita enquanto mantendo a transparência e propriedades de barreira. em alguns aspectos, as partículas de caulim são modificadas com acetato de potássio (kac) para aumentar a distâncias interlamelares e melhorar a dispersão das partículas. em outros aspectos, as partículas de caulim calcinadas são utilizados e podem ser tratados quimicamente por um método de soluções de álcool aquosas. qualquer perda no peso molecular do composto de pet pode ser compensada por uma maior incorporação de compatibilizadores de superfície, tais como agentes de acoplamento de silano e outros aditivos do processo, tais como extensores de cadeia molecular. __________________________________________________________ abstract pet nanocomposite materials exhibit improved physical properties in a pet composite as a result of the intercalation of non smecite-type clay materials while maintaining transparency and barrier properties. in some aspects, kaolin particles are modified with potassium acetate (kac) to increase interlamellar distances and improve particle dispersion. in other aspects, calcined kaolin particles are used and may be chemically treated by an aqueous alcohol solutions method. any loss in the molecular weight of pet composite can be offset by the further incorporation of surface compatibilizers such as silane coupling agents and other process additives such as molecular chain extenders. 1
