Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1における変速機の潤滑構造を示す断面図である。図中には、車両に搭載される変速機の作動していない状態が示されている。図1を参照して、変速機100は、潤滑油12が溜められたオイルパン13と、オイルパン13に上方から組み付けられ、互いに隣り合って位置するギア室101および102を構成するケース11とを備える。ギア室101およびギア室102には、それぞれ、内部空間10および20が形成されている。内部空間10と内部空間20とは、ケース11内に設けられた隔壁14によって隔たれている。隔壁14は、ケース11の頂面側から鉛直下方向に延び、その延びる先端に、オイルパン13の底面と距離を隔てて位置する端部14mを有する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態1で説明した潤滑構造を、FF(front engine front wheel drive)車両に搭載された自動変速機に適用した場合について説明を行なう。図7は、この発明の実施の形態2における自動変速機の潤滑構造を示す断面図である。図中では、自動変速機の内部構造が把握できるように、異なる断面の形状が1つの断面に展開されて表されている。
Claims (5)
- 潤滑油を収容するケース体と、
潤滑油が溜められた第1の内部空間を有するギア室と、
連通孔によって前記第1の内部空間と連通する第2の内部空間を有する隣室とを備え、
前記ケース体は、潤滑油が前記ギア室と前記隣室との間で流れるのを許容する端部を含み、前記ギア室および前記隣室を区画し、前記ケース体の頂面から潤滑油を貯留するための前記ケース体の底面に向けて鉛直下方向に延在する隔壁を有し、
変速機の作動に伴って、油面が上昇し、前記端部と油面との間の空間が消滅したときに、前記ギア室は、所定の圧力まで圧力増加し、前記隣室は、前記所定の圧力よりも低い圧力となり、
前記連通孔は、前記端部から距離を隔てた位置に設けられ、さらに、
前記連通孔の直下に位置するように前記第2の内部空間に設けられ、前記連通孔を介して前記第1の内部空間から前記第2の内部空間に流入する潤滑油を受けるオイルキャッチ部を備え、
前記オイルキャッチ部は、前記第2の内部空間における油面よりも高い位置に設けられる、変速機の潤滑構造。 - 前記隣室には、ギアが設けられている、請求項1に記載の変速機の潤滑構造。
- 前記隣室には、ディファレンシャルギアおよびカウンタギアの少なくともいずれか一方が設けられている、請求項2に記載の変速機の潤滑構造。
- 前記第1の内部空間から流入した潤滑油は、所定量を超えた時点で前記オイルキャッチ部からオーバーフローする、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の変速機の潤滑構造。
- 前記オイルキャッチ部には、潤滑油を漏洩させるための開口部が形成されている、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の変速機の潤滑構造。
