Claims (5)
- 透明領域と光吸収領域とが基板面上に交互に並んだ構造を有し、光線方向を制御するルーバーとして前記光吸収領域が機能する光線方向制御素子の製造方法であって、
前記透明領域を成す光透過性材料を透明な第1の基板上に配置し透明パターンを形成する第1の透明パターン形成工程と、
前記透明領域を成す光透過性材料を透明な第2の基板上に配置し透明パターンを形成する第2の透明パターン形成工程と、
前記第1の基板上の透明パターンの凸部の頂面と前記第2の基板上の透明パターンの凸部の頂面とが密着するように、前記第1の基板及び第2の基板を重ね合わせる基板積層工程と、
前記第1の基板、前記第2の基板及び前記透明パターンによって囲まれた空間内に、硬化性を有する光吸収性の流動体を充填する流動体充填工程と、
前記流動体を硬化させ前記光吸収領域を形成する流動体硬化工程と、
を有することを特徴とする光線方向制御素子の製造方法。 - 透明領域と光吸収領域とが基板面上に交互に並んだ構造を有し、光線方向を制御するルーバーとして前記光吸収領域が機能する光線方向制御素子の製造方法であって、
前記透明領域を成す光透過性材料を透明な第1の基板上に配置し透明パターンを形成する第1の透明パターン形成工程と、
前記透明領域を成す光透過性材料を透明な第2の基板上に配置し透明パターンを形成する第2の透明パターン形成工程と、
前記第1の基板上の透明パターンの凸部の頂面が前記第2の基板の表面と密着し前記第2の基板上の透明パターンの凸部の頂面が前記第1の基板の表面に密着するように、前記第1の基板及び第2の基板を重ね合わせる基板積層工程と、
前記第1の基板、前記第2の基板及び前記透明パターンによって囲まれた空間内に、硬化性を有する光吸収性の流動体を充填する流動体充填工程と、
前記流動体を硬化させ前記光吸収領域を形成する流動体硬化工程と、
を有することを特徴とする光線方向制御素子の製造方法。 - 前記第2の透明パターン形成工程は、
光透過性の光硬化性材料を前記透明パターンに応じた厚さで前記第2の基板上に塗布し透明領域層を形成する透明領域層形成工程と、
前記透明パターンに応じたフォトマスクを用いたフォトリソグラフィプロセスにより前記透明領域層をパターニングし前記第2の基板上に硬化後の前記光硬化性材料による透明パターンを形成するパターニング工程と、
を有する、請求項1または2に記載の光線方向制御素子の製造方法。 - 前記流動体充填工程において、毛細管現象を用いて前記流動体が充填される、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の光線方向制御素子の製造方法。
- 前記光硬化性材料は、ビスフェノールAノボラックのグリシジルエーテル誘導体を含んで、光硬化開始剤から発生する酸を触媒として重合が進行して硬化するものである、請求項3に記載の光線方向制御素子の製造方法。
