Abstract
Description
図1には、本実施形態の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある。)1の正規状態における回転軸を含むタイヤ子午線断面図が示されている。
装着リム:22.5×9.75
タイヤ内圧:900kPa
ドラム試験機上で上記テストタイヤを規格荷重の200%の条件下で時速20km/hで所定の時間走行させ、ビード部に損傷が発生するまでの走行時間が測定された。結果は、所定の時間を完走した場合を100とする指数であり、数値が大きい程、ビード部の耐久性が優れていることを示す。
酸素劣化によりカーカスプライを硬化させた後、規格荷重の150%の条件下で時速20km/hで所定の時間走行させ、ビード部に損傷が発生するまでの走行時間が測定された。結果は、所定の時間を完走した場合を100とする指数であり、数値が大きい程、ビード部の耐久性が優れていることを示す。
テスト結果が表1に示される。

Claims (7)
- 断面幅が335mm以下で、偏平比が55%以下の重荷重用空気入りタイヤであって、
トレッド部からサイドウォール部を経てビード部のビードコアに至るトロイド状のカーカスと、前記カーカスのタイヤ半径方向外側かつ前記トレッド部の内部に配されるベルト層とを含み、
前記カーカスは、前記トレッド部から前記サイドウォール部を経て前記ビード部の前記ビードコアに至る本体部と、前記ビードコアの回りをタイヤ軸方向内側から外側に折り返される折返し部とを含むカーカスプライを有し、
前記折返し部は、そのタイヤ半径方向の外端が、前記トレッド部において前記本体部と前記ベルト層との間に位置し、
前記サイドウォール部には、前記サイドウォール部のタイヤ軸方向外側の形状を規定するサイドウォールゴムが設けられ、
前記ビード部には、前記ビード部のタイヤ軸方向外側の形状を規定するチェーファーゴムが設けられ、
前記サイドウォールゴムのタイヤ半径方向の内端から前記本体部に直行する方向の前記チェーファーゴムの厚さは、前記サイドウォールゴムの前記内端から前記本体部に直行する方向の前記ビード部の厚さの40%〜60%である重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記チェーファーゴムの複素弾性率は、10〜15MPaである請求項1に記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記チェーファーゴムは、タイヤ半径方向の最も内側に位置するビードトー部と、前記ビードトー部からタイヤ軸方向外側にのびるビードベース部と、前記ビードベース部のタイヤ軸方向の最も外側に位置するビードヒール部とを有し、
前記ビードコアは、タイヤ半径方向の最も内側に位置するビードコア基準部を有し、
前記ビードトー部と前記ビードコア基準部とのタイヤ軸方向の距離は、前記ビードトー部と前記ビードヒール部とのタイヤ軸方向の距離の30%〜40%である請求項1又は2に記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記カーカスプライは、コード径が0.6〜0.8mmであるスチールコードを含む請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記カーカスプライの50mm幅当たりの前記スチールコードの打ち込み本数は、20〜30本である請求項4に記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記本体部と前記ベルト層との間には、クッションゴムが配され、
前記クッションゴムのタイヤ半径方向の内端は、前記折返し部の前記外端よりもタイヤ半径方向内側に位置する請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記本体部と前記折返し部との間には、前記ビードコアからタイヤ半径方向外側に向かって先細状にのびるビードエーペックスゴムが設けられ、
前記クッションゴムの前記内端と前記ビードエーペックスゴムの前記外端とのタイヤ半径方向の距離は、前記断面幅と前記偏平比との積に対して25%〜35%である請求項6に記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
