Claims (19)
- マイクロニードルアレイの製造方法であって、
所定のパターンで配列された複数の微細加工ナノ構造体をその表面に有するマイクロニードルネガ型キャビティ内に成形材料を注入するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
第1のマイクロニードルセグメントを含む第1のモールドセグメントと第2のマイクロニードルセグメントを含む第2のモールドセグメントとを互いに整列させるステップをさらに含み、
前記第1及び第2のモールドセグメントの各々が、前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティの一部を形成するように構成されており、前記第1及び第2のモールドセグメントを互いに整列させることにより前記両モールドセグメントの間に前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティが形成されるようにしたことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載の方法であって、
前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティが、マイクロニードルチャンネルモールドを画定することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティに隣接して基板キャビティを画定すべく、ベース部材を前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティと互いに整列させるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
ポジ型モールドマスターを作製するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティ内に成形材料を注入する前に、前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティを加熱するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記成形材料がポリマー材料であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記成形材料を、約6,000psi(約420kgf/cm2)以上の圧力下で、前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティに注入するようにしたことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記マイクロニードルネガ型キャビティに対して超音波エネルギーをさらに印加するようにしたことを特徴とする方法。 - 射出成形型マイクロニードルアレイであって、
基板と、
前記基板の表面から延出する複数のマイクロニードルと、
前記複数のマイクロニードルのうちの少なくとも1本のマイクロニードルの表面に設けられ、かつ所定のパターンで配列された複数のナノ構造体とを含み、
前記基板、前記複数のマイクロニードル及び前記複数のナノ構造体の全てが、射出成形された構造物の一部であることを特徴とするマイクロニードルアレイ。 - 請求項10に記載の射出成形されたマイクロニードルアレイであって、
前記複数のマイクロニードルのうちの少なくとも1本のマイクロニードルが、該マイクロニードルの長さに沿ってチャンネルを有することを特徴とするマイクロニードルアレイ。 - 請求項10または11に記載の射出成形されたマイクロニードルアレイであって、
前記複数のナノ構造体のうちの少なくとも一部のナノ構造体が、約5〜500ナノメートルの断面寸法を有することを特徴とするマイクロニードルアレイ。 - 請求項10ないし12のいずれかに記載の射出成形されたマイクロニードルアレイであって、
前記パターンが、マイクロ構造体をさらに含み、前記ナノ構造体が前記マイクロ構造体の断面寸法よりも小さい断面寸法を有することを特徴とする複合マイクロニードルアレイ。 - 請求項13に記載の射出成形されたマイクロニードルアレイであって、
前記マイクロ構造体の断面寸法よりも小さい、かつ前記ナノ構造体の断面寸法よりも大きい断面寸法を有する別のナノ構造体をさらに含むことを特徴とするマイクロニードルアレイ。 - 請求項10ないし14のいずれかに記載の射出成形型マイクロニードルアレイを含む経皮パッチ。
- 請求項15に記載の経皮パッチであって、
薬剤化合物を保持するための貯蔵部をさらに含むことを特徴とする経皮パッチ。 - 請求項16に記載の経皮パッチであって、
前記貯蔵部に流体連通された流量制御膜をさらに含むことを特徴とする経皮パッチ。 - 請求項17に記載の経皮パッチであって、
前記流量制御膜に隣接配置され、かつ前記薬剤化合物に対して概ね不透過性であるリリース部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする経皮パッチ。 - 請求項15に記載の経皮パッチであって、
前記薬剤化合物が約20〜250kDaの分子量を有することを特徴とする経皮パッチ。
