Claims (9)
- 酢酸及び水素を含む供給流を、250℃〜350℃の範囲の温度において、
(a)シリカ及び炭素からなる群から選択される触媒担体上の、0.5〜1.0重量%のパラジウムを含む第1の金属、並びに鉄、銅、金、カリウム、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される第2の金属;
を含む水素化触媒と接触させることを含み、消費された酢酸を基準とするアセトアルデヒドへの選択率が少なくとも60%である、酢酸からアセトアルデヒドを選択的且つ直接に生成する方法。 - 触媒担体がシリカである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 消費された酢酸を基準とするアセトアルデヒドへの選択率が少なくとも70%である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 消費された酢酸を基準とするアセトアルデヒドへの選択率が少なくとも80%である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アセトアルデヒドへの水素化を気相中で行う、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 供給流が不活性キャリアガスを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 反応物質が100:1〜1:100の範囲のモル比の酢酸及び水素から構成される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 反応物質が1:20〜1:2の範囲のモル比の酢酸及び水素から構成される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 水素化触媒が、シリカ又は炭素上に担持されているパラジウム/金(Pd/Au)又はパラジウム/銅(Pd/Cu)の2元金属の組み合わせから選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
