Abstract

光ガイドプレートであって、その1つのエッジが、前記光ガイドパイプの前記長方形のエッジに隣接して設けられ、前記光ガイドパイプから前記均等に分散した出力光を受光し、前記光ガイドプレートが、長方形の断面および第1の屈折率を有する光ガイドプレート、一端がナイフエッジになっている長方形の断面および第1の屈折率を有するテーパ状の光ガイドプレート、第2の屈折率を有する第2の光学フィルム、第1の屈折率を有する第2のプリズムレンズシート、前記第2のプリズムレンズシートのファセット上に堆積された鏡面反射コーティング、ならびに、平面鏡面反射ミラーのうち1つまたは複数を備え、前記光ガイドプレートが、1つの長方形の出力面全体に均等に分散した出力ビームを提供し、前記出力ビームが実質的に正方形または長方形の断面であり、両方の出力経線でよくコリメートされる光ガイドプレートと、を備える照明システム。 - 前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタの前記アレイ内の前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタのそれぞれが、前記光ガイドパイプの前記長方形のエッジの長軸に平行な経線において、D1にサイズ設定された出力アパーチャを通るその出力光をコリメートし、前記経線における角度範囲は実質的に+/−θ1であり(ただし、+/−θ1は、適用可能なエタンデュ保存正弦法によって求められる)、θ1は実質的にSin-1(d1/D1)である、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタの前記アレイ内の前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタのそれぞれが、入力アパーチャと出力アパーチャと間のエタンデュを保存する境界条件にしたがって数学的に成型された対向する側壁を有する、請求項18に記載される照明システム。
- 前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタの前記アレイ内の前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタのそれぞれが、0.5(d1+D1)/Tan(θ1)の設計された長さの合計を有するが、残っている前記設計された長さの40%以上を残すように前記設計された長さから縮小できる、請求項19に記載される照明システム。
- 前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタの前記アレイ内の前記長方形の4つの側部を有するエタンデュ保存角度変形リフレクタのそれぞれが、前記光ガイドパイプの前記長方形のエッジの短軸に平行な経線において、前記LEDの広角出力発光をD2にサイズ設定された出力アパーチャを通過する出力光に変換し、前記経線における角度範囲が実質的に+/−θ2であり(ただし、+/−θ2は、適用可能なエタンデュ保存正弦法によって求められる)、θ2は実質的にSin-1(d2/D2)である、請求項20に記載される照明システム。
- 空中におけるθ2が50度から55度である、請求項21に記載される照明システム。
- 前記長方形の出力面の上方に設けられた1つまたは複数のレンチキュラーレンズシートを有し、それらの微小凸レンズ片が、前記長方形の出力面に向かって面している、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記1つまたは複数のレンチキュラーレンズシートが、放物線形状の微小凸レンズを含む、請求項23に記載される照明システム。
- 前記1つまたは複数のレンチキュラーレンズシートが、それらのレンチキュラーレンズ軸が互いに実質的に直交するように互いに対して配向される、請求項23に記載される照明システム。
- 前記長方形の出力面の上方に設けられた1つまたは複数の従来のディフューザシートを有する、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記光ガイドプレートの前記入力アパーチャが、レンチキュラーレンズフィルムによって、完全にまたは部分的に覆われ、前記レンチキュラーレンズフィルムの平面表面が、前記入力アパーチャに向かって設けられ、前記レンチキュラーレンズフィルムのレンチキュラーレンズ軸が前記入力アパーチャの前記エッジに平行に、または、前記入力アパーチャの前記エッジに直交して位置決めされる、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記出力ビームを受光し、異なる角方向に再配向するように設けられた傾斜した平面ミラーを有する、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記第2のプリズムレンズシートが、プリズムレンズの実質的に連続するアレイを含み、各プリズムレンズが、左手の反射ファセットおよび右手の反射ファセットを有し、前記右手のファセットが、実質的に全ての入射光を受光する、請求項17に記載される照明システム。
- 前記右手のファセットと前記左手のファセットの総夾角が、75度から120度の範囲である、請求項29に記載される照明システム。
- 前記右手のファセットとプリズムベースに対する法線とによってなされる角が、58度から63度の範囲である、請求項29に記載される照明システム。
- 前記右手のファセットとプリズムベースに対する法線とによってなされる角が、40度から80度の範囲である、請求項29に記載される照明システム。
