Abstract
Description
実施例1
エチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):ジエチルカーボネート(DEC)=3:2:5の体積比で混合した溶媒にLiPF6を1Mになるように添加してLiPF6溶液を製造した後、溶液の総重量に対してフルオロエチレンカーボネート2重量%及び1,3‐ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン0.5重量%をさらに添加して非水電解液を製造した。
エチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):ジエチルカーボネート(DEC)=3:2:5の体積比で混合した溶媒にLiPF6を1Mになるように添加してLiPF6溶液を製造した後、溶液の総重量に対してフルオロエチレンカーボネート2重量%及び1,3‐ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン1重量%をさらに添加して非水電解液を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び1,3‐ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンを添加しないことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で非水電解液を製造した。
1,3‐ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンを添加せず、フルオロエチレンカーボネート2重量%のみを添加したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で非水電解液を製造した。
実施例及び比較例によって製造された非水電解液、LiCoO2と(Ni0.53Co0.20Mn0.27)O2とを2:1で混合した正極、負極として人造黒鉛を使用して通常の方法で厚さ4.2mmの角型リチウム二次電池を製造した。製造された角形電池を、電解液注液後の活性化工程及び常温、高温エイジング(aging)期間を経た後、室温で基本容量を確認した。1Cで4.2Vまで定電流/定電圧条件で充電し、1Cで3.0Vまで定電流条件で放電することを基本充放電とする。製造された電池に対し、次のような方法で電池の寿命特性及び電池の高温保存特性を測定した。
前述した方法で製造した実施例及び比較例の電池(各3個)を初期充放電した後、常温(25℃)で基本充放電を500回実施し、充放電が繰り返されるにつれて変化する電池の容量及び厚さを図1に示した。図1において、上段のグラフは電池の容量変化を、下段のグラフは厚さ変化を示す。
前述した方法で製造した実施例及び比較例の電池(各2個)を初期充放電した後、それぞれ4.2Vに充電した。これを温度調節オーブンに入れ、1時間に亘って25℃から90℃まで昇温した後、90℃で4時間保存し、再び1時間に亘って25℃まで降温し、25℃で1時間維持した。30分間隔で電池の厚さを測定する装備を用いて電池の厚さを測定し、その結果を図2に示した。また、テスト前の電池の0.2C放電容量と1C放電容量、及びテスト後の電池の残存容量と容量回復率を測定し、表2に示した。
Claims (9)
- 前記フルオロ基を有する溶媒が、下記化学式2から化学式5で表される化合物から選択される何れかの一種又はこれらの二種以上の混合物である、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
R1及びR2は相互独立して炭素数が1〜3である炭化水素基であり、

- 前記シロキサン化合物が、1,3‐ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンである、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
- 非水電解液の総重量を基準にして、前記フルオロ基を有する溶媒と、及びシロキサン化合物の含量が、それぞれ0.5重量%〜20重量%であり、及び0.03重量%〜7重量%である、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
- 前記有機溶媒が、プロピレンカーボネート、エチレンカーボネート、ビニレンカーボネート及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択された環状カーボネート;ジエチルカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート、メチルエチルカーボネート、ジプロピルカーボネート及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択された線状カーボネート;ジメチルスルホキシド、アセトニトリル、ジメトキシエタン、ジエトキシエタン、スルホラン、γ‐ブチロラクトン、エチレンサルファイト、プロピレンサルファイト、テトラハイドロフラン、エチルプロピオネート及びプロピルプロピオネートからなる群より選択される何れかの一種又はこれらの二種以上の混合物である、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
- 前記有機溶媒が、エチレンカーボネート、又はエチレンカーボネートとプロピレンカーボネートとの混合物である、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiSbF6、LiAsF6、LiClO4、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)2、 CF3SO3Li及びLiC(CF3SO2)3、LiC4BO8からなる群より選択される何れかの一種又はこれらのうち二種以上の混合物である、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液。
- リチウム二次電池であって、
負極と、正極と、及び非水電解液とを備えてなり、
前記非水電解液が、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水電解液である、リチウム二次電池。
