Abstract
Description
本発明の第1の態様によると、プラスチック材料よりなり、その壁の内側表面に少なくとも1つの燃料付属品が嵌合された燃料タンクであって、前記燃料付属品は、素子間を延在する融合素子によって容易化される融接によって、前記内側表面の所定の場所に取り付けられる、燃料タンクを提供する。特定の実施の形態によると、燃料付属品の1つと、燃料タンクの内側表面の場所とには、いずれかの構成要素と一体化され、あるいは付加される融合素子(「溶接挿入部」としてもしばしば称される)が嵌合される。
A)融合素子は、燃料付属品の筺体および燃料タンクの壁部のいずれか一方に嵌合され、または予め嵌合される。代替的には、融合素子は、燃料付属品の筺体と燃料タンクの壁部との間に別個に配置される。この融合素子は、例えば、燃料付属品の筺体と燃料タンクの壁部との間に配置されるディスク状の部材内に埋め込まれる等、溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容される。それにより、融合素子を加熱すると運搬部材が溶融して両面で溶接し、取り付け部を形成する。
B)融接素子は、対応する形状の溝内に埋め込まれうる螺旋状または波状に形成されるフィラメントである。しかしながら、融合素子は、例えば、ディスク状の素子、フラットリング素子等の異なる形状を有するシートの形態でもよい。
C)融合素子は、融合素子から延在する導電性ワイヤを介して印加される電流によって作動される。典型的には、このワイヤは、融合素子から容易に取り外し可能である。
D)融合素子は、誘導を介して印加される電流によって作動される。
E)燃料付属品の1つと燃料タンクの場所とには、磁化可能な部材が嵌合され、それにより、融接処理中、燃料付属品は磁力によって燃料タンクの場所に引き付けられる。誘導電流は、燃料付属品を壁部に引き付けて係合し、融接するための磁場を生成するように使用されてもよい。
F)融合素子は、燃料付属品アプリケータの対応する電流ソケットによって係合可能な導電素子を介して印加される電流によって作動される。
G)燃料付属品は、燃料付属品アプリケータによって燃料タンクの場所に導入され、融接処理中に支持可能に保持される。この燃料付属品アプリケータは、一実施の形態では、タンクに形成される開口部を通じて燃料タンクの内部空間に導入するアームとして構成される操作部の形態である。他の実施の形態によると、この操作部は、燃料付属品を支持し、好適な電気供給配置で壁部に対して位置決めし、装置の別の部分が燃料タンクの対向する壁部分を圧迫する、好適な装置の形態にある。選択的には、操作部は、電流を印加するように燃料付属品の対応するソケットに接続する電気ソケットを備える。
H)燃料付属品は、例えば、異なるタイプの弁(通気弁、ロールオーバ弁、過充填断続弁等)、燃料トラップ、ゲージ、フィルタ等、および、燃料タンクに取り付けられ、様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアのような、燃料タンク内に嵌合される各種素子の1つ以上の素子でもよい。
I)燃料付属品の筺体の少なくとも上部分および燃料タンクの壁部分は、熱溶接可能であり、融接に適している好適なプラスチック材料(例えば、ポリエチレン−PE)よりなる。
J)オプションとして、燃料付属品は圧力感知装置、例えば、応力ゲージまたはマイクロスイッチを用いてタンクの壁表面と係合され、燃料付属品が燃料タンクの壁としっかりと且つ正確に係合されることが確実となる。
K)幾つかの溶接パラメータを管理し、多数の融接付属部品、例えば、幾つかの燃料付属品、または燃料タンクに取り付けられ様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアの同時溶接を制御する制御組立体が設けられる。
以下に、本発明を理解し、本発明をどのように実施するかを知るために、添付の図面を参照し非限定的な例を用いて幾つかの実施の形態を説明する。
Claims (50)
- プラスチック材料よりなり、その壁の内側表面に少なくとも1つの燃料付属品が嵌合される燃料タンクであって、前記燃料付属品は、融接によって前記内側表面の所定の場所に取り付けられる、燃料タンク。
- 前記燃料付属品の1つと、前記燃料タンクの内側表面の場所とは、融合素子によって予め嵌合される、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、フィラメントである、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、導電性シート材料である、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、前記燃料付属品の筺体の上部に一体化されている、請求項2記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、前記燃料タンクの場所に一体化される挿入部の形態にある、請求項2記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、前記融合素子から延在する導電ワイヤを通って印加される電流によって作動される、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、誘導を介して印加される電流によって作動される、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記燃料付属品の1つと、前記燃料タンクの場所とには、磁化可能な部材が嵌合され、融接処理中、前記燃料付属品が磁力によって前記燃料タンクの場所に引き付けられる、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 誘導電流が、前記燃料付属品の1つと前記燃料タンクの場所とに嵌合される磁化可能な部材によって前記燃料タンク内の場所に前記燃料付属品を引き付け、係合するための磁場を生成する、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記融合素子は、燃料付属品アプリケータの対応する電流ソケットによって係合可能な導電素子を通じて印加される電流によって作動される、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記燃料付属品は、燃料付属品アプリケータによって、前記燃料タンクの場所に導入され、融接中に支持可能に保持される、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記燃料付属品アプリケータは、前記タンクに形成される開口部を通って前記燃料タンクの内部空間に挿入可能な操作アームの形態にある、請求項12記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記燃料付属品は、弁である、請求項1記載の燃料タンク。
- プラスチック材料の燃料タンクの内壁部分の場所に取り付けられる燃料付属品であって、前記場所に取り付け可能な係合表面が形成される筺体を備え、前記係合表面には、前記燃料タンクに前記燃料付属品を融接する融合素子が嵌合される、燃料付属品。
- 前記係合表面は、前記場所と同一平面で係合するような壁部分の形状に対応する形状を有する、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子は、前記付属品の筺体の係合表面に形成される溝に埋め込まれる、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子は、螺旋状フィラメントである、請求項17記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子は、波状フィラメントである、請求項17記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子は、シート状材料の形態にある、請求項17記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子は、前記融合素子から延在する導電ワイヤを通って印加される電流によって作動される、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記導電ワイヤは、前記燃料付属品から容易に取り外し可能である、請求項21記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記融合素子には、アプリケータと係合可能な電気ソケットが嵌合される、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記筺体には、融接処理中に前記燃料タンクの場所に引き付けるための磁化可能な部材が嵌合される、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 融接は、前記燃料付属品の1つと前記燃料タンクの場所とに嵌められる磁化可能な部材によって前記燃料タンク内の場所に前記燃料付属品を引き付け、係合する磁場を生成する誘導電流によって励起される、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記燃料付属品は、弁である、請求項15記載の燃料付属品。
- プラスチック材料よりなる筺体部分を少なくとも有する燃料付属品をプラスチック材料よりなる燃料タンクに取り付ける方法であって、前記筺体部分の1つと前記タンクの壁部とは、融合素子によって嵌合され、
(a)前記燃料タンクの内側表面の所定の場所に前記燃料付属品を位置決めするステップと、
(b)前記場所に前記筺体の係合表面を接合するステップと、
(c)プラスチック材料を溶融するのに好適な温度まで加熱するために前記融合素子を通じて電流を印加し、前記燃料付属品を前記燃料タンクに溶接するステップと、を備える方法。 - 前記融合素子は、取り外し可能な導電ワイヤを通って印加される電流によって加熱される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記融合素子は、誘導によって印加される電流によって加熱される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記融合素子は、燃料付属品アプリケータの電気ソケットを通じて印加される電流によって加熱される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品の筺体には、融接処理中に前記燃料タンクの壁部に引き付けるために磁化可能な部材が嵌合される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 融接は、前記燃料付属品の1つと、前記燃料タンクの壁部とに嵌合される磁化可能な部材によって前記燃料タンク内の壁部に前記燃料付属品を引き付け、係合する磁場を生成する誘導電流によって励起される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品は、前記場所に位置決めされる燃料タンクに導入され、燃料付属品アプリケータによって融接処理中保持される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品アプリケータ操作部は、前記タンクに形成される開口部を通って前記燃料タンクの内部空間に挿入可能なアームの形態にある、請求項33記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品の対応するソケット部材と係合可能な前記燃料付属品アプリケータの電気ソケットを介して前記融合素子に電流が印加される、請求項33記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品は、弁である、請求項27記載の方法。
- プラスチック材料よりなる燃料タンクに燃料付属品を取り付ける方法であって、前記燃料付属品の1つと前記燃料タンクの内側表面の場所とは、融合素子によって予め嵌合され、前記燃料付属品の取り付けは、融接によって行われる、方法。
- 前記燃料付属品は、圧力感知装置を用いて前記タンクの壁表面と係合される、請求項27記載の方法。
- 前記圧力感知装置は、応力ゲージである、請求項38記載の方法。
- 前記圧力感知装置は、マイクロスイッチである、請求項38記載の方法。
- 前記燃料付属品は、一端が上壁部分の壁の反対側に延在する前記燃料タンクの底部を圧迫し、その他端が前記燃料付属品を支持し前記壁部に付勢するアプリケータ機構によって前記燃料タンクの壁部と係合する、請求項27記載の方法。

- 燃料付属品を燃料タンクの内壁の場所に導入し、融接によって取り付ける操作部であって、前記タンクに形成される開口部を通って前記燃料タンクの内部空間に導入するアームとして構成される、操作部。
- 前記燃料付属品を前記壁部に確実に適用し、融接処理中に前記壁部に押圧する燃料付属品把持部を備える、請求項44記載の操作部。
- 電流を印加するように、前記燃料付属品の対応するソケットに接続する電気ソケットを備える、請求項44記載の操作部。
- 前記燃料付属品が前記燃料タンクの壁としっかりと且つ正確に係合されることを確実にするための圧力感知装置を備える、請求項44記載の操作部。
- 前記圧力感知装置は、1つ以上の応力ゲージの形態にある、請求項47記載の操作部。
- 前記圧力感知配置は、1つ以上のマイクロスイッチの形態にある、請求項47記載の操作部。
- 前記壁部への前記燃料付属品の正確な適用を決定し、融接処理中に前記壁部に対する前記燃料付属品の正確な加圧を確認するための圧力感知装置を備える、請求項44記載の操作部。
