Claims (14)
- 溶融可能な材料を含むとともに、金属部材を有する構成部品を中空容器である燃料タンクの中に位置決めし、
前記構成部品を磁石に引き寄せるために、前記構成部品の近傍であって前記燃料タンクの外部に当該磁石を位置させ、
前記構成部品の近傍であって前記燃料タンクの外部に誘導コイルを位置させ、そして、誘導コイルの励磁により前記溶融可能な材料を前記燃料タンクに溶融させるために、前記誘導コイルを励磁するものであって、
前記構成部品は、前記燃料タンクに溶融される取付け部材と、当該取付け部材において等間隔に離間して配置され、かつ取付け部材から同じ高さだけ突出した、同じ外形形状を有する複数の脚部とを有し、前記脚部が、金属材を含有するプラスティック材料からなることを特徴とする溶接方法。 - 前記構成部品は、前記燃料タンクの内壁に対して位置決めされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記金属部材は、前記構成部品の中心軸と同軸上に中心軸を有するように、前記構成部品に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記脚部は、前記金属部材を中心として、その周りに配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記磁石は、電磁石であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記構成部品の取付け部材は、プラスティック材料から形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記燃料タンクは、プラスティック材料から形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記構成部品を前記燃料タンクの中に位置決めする際、当該構成部品を前記燃料タンクの壁に位置決めすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接方法。
- 誘導溶接可能なプラスティック材料を使用して、中空プラスティック容器である燃料タンクの壁部に、プラスティック構成部品を溶接する方法であって、
前記プラスティック構成部品に金属板を取付ける工程、
前記プラスティック構成部品に溶接可能なプラスティック材料を設ける工程、
前記燃料タンクの壁部に形成された開口部を通して、前記燃料タンクの外部からその内部に、前記プラスティック構成部品を挿入する工程、
前記燃料タンクの内壁に対して、前記プラスティック構成部品を位置決めする工程、
前記燃料タンクの内部に位置決めされた前記プラスティック構成部品と反対側に位置するように、電磁石を前記燃料タンクの外側に位置決めする工程、
誘導コイルが前記電磁石を取囲むように、当該電磁石に対して誘導コイルを位置決めする工程、
前記プラスティック構成部品の金属板を、前記燃料タンクの壁部に向けて吸引するように、前記電磁石を励磁する工程、および
前記誘導溶接可能なプラスティック材料を溶融させて前記プラスティック構成部品と前記中空プラスティック容器の壁部とを溶接するように、前記誘導コイルを励磁する工程とを備え、
前記プラスティック構成部品における溶接可能なプラスティック材料として、前記燃料タンクに溶融される取付け部材と、当該取付け部材において等間隔に離間して配置され、かつ取付け部材から同じ高さだけ突出した、同じ外形形状を有する複数の脚部とを有し、前記脚部が、金属材を含有するプラスティック材料からなることを特徴とする溶接方法。 - 前記電磁石の励磁を、前記プラスティック構成部品と前記燃料タンクが室温になるまで、継続することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記脚部は、前記取付け部材に別部材として取付けられていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記脚部が含有する金属材は、金属粒子もしくは金属繊維であることを特徴とする請求項9乃至請求項11のいずれかに記載の溶接方法。
- 前記金属板は、前記プラスティック構成部品の中心軸と同軸上に中心軸を有するように、前記プラスティック構成部品に設けられることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の溶接方法。
- 前記複数の脚部は、前記金属板を中心として、その周りに配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の溶接方法。
