Description
本発明の第1の態様によると、プラスチック材料よりなり、その壁の内側表面に少なくとも1つの燃料付属品が取り付けられた燃料タンクであって、前記燃料付属品は、素子間を延在する融合素子によって容易化される融接によって、前記内側表面の所定の場所に取り付けられる、燃料タンクを提供する。特定の実施の形態によると、燃料付属品の1つと、燃料タンクの内側表面の場所とには、いずれかの構成要素と一体化され、あるいは付加される融合素子(「溶接挿入部」としてもしばしば称される)が取り付けられる。
A)融合素子は、燃料付属品の筺体および燃料タンクの壁部のいずれか一方に嵌合され、または予め嵌合される。代替的には、融合素子は、燃料付属品の筺体と燃料タンクの壁部との間に別個に配置される。この融合素子は、例えば、燃料付属品の筺体と燃料タンクの壁部との間に配置されるディスク状の部材内に埋め込まれる等、溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容される。それにより、融合素子を加熱すると運搬部材が溶融して両面で溶接し、取り付け部を形成する。
B)融接素子は、対応する形状の溝内に埋め込まれうる螺旋状または波状に形成されるフィラメントである。しかしながら、融合素子は、例えば、ディスク状の素子、フラットリング素子等の異なる形状を有するシートの形態でもよい。
C)融合素子は、融合素子から延在する導電性ワイヤを介して印加される電流によって作動される。典型的には、このワイヤは、融合素子から容易に取り外し可能である。
D)融合素子は、誘導を介して印加される電流によって作動される。
E)燃料付属品の1つと燃料タンクの場所とには、磁化可能な部材が取り付けられ、それにより、融接処理中、燃料付属品は磁力によって燃料タンクの場所に引き付けられる。誘導電流は、燃料付属品を壁部に引き付けて係合し、融接するための磁場を生成するように使用されてもよい。
F)融合素子は、燃料付属品アプリケータの対応する電流ソケットによって係合可能な導電素子を介して印加される電流によって作動される。
G)燃料付属品は、燃料付属品アプリケータによって燃料タンクの場所に導入され、融接処理中に支持可能に保持される。この燃料付属品アプリケータは、一実施の形態では、タンクに形成される開口部を通じて燃料タンクの内部空間に導入するアームとして構成される操作部の形態である。他の実施の形態によると、この操作部は、燃料付属品を支持し、好適な電気供給配置で壁部に対して位置決めし、装置の別の部分が燃料タンクの対向する壁部分を圧迫する、好適な装置の形態にある。選択的には、操作部は、電流を印加するように燃料付属品の対応するソケットに接続する電気ソケットを備える。
H)燃料付属品は、例えば、異なるタイプの弁(通気弁、ロールオーバ弁、過充填断続弁等)、燃料トラップ、ゲージ、フィルタ等、および、燃料タンクに取り付けられ、様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアのような、燃料タンク内に嵌合される各種素子の1つ以上の素子でもよい。
I)燃料付属品の筺体の少なくとも上部分および燃料タンクの壁部分は、熱溶接可能であり、融接に適している好適なプラスチック材料(例えば、ポリエチレン−PE)よりなる。
J)オプションとして、燃料付属品は圧力感知装置、例えば、応力ゲージまたはマイクロスイッチを用いてタンクの壁表面と係合され、燃料付属品が燃料タンクの壁としっかりと且つ正確に係合されることが確実となる。
K)幾つかの溶接パラメータを管理し、多数の融接付属部品、例えば、幾つかの燃料付属品、または燃料タンクに取り付けられ様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアの同時溶接を制御する制御組立体が設けられる。
以下に、本発明を理解し、本発明をどのように実施するかを知るために、添付の図面を参照し非限定的な例を用いて幾つかの実施の形態を説明する。
Claims (17)
- プラスチック材料の燃料タンクの壁の内側表面の所定の場所に取り付けられる燃料付属品であって、前記所定の場所に取り付け可能な係合表面が形成される筺体を備え、前記係合表面には、前記燃料タンクに前記燃料付属品を融接する融合素子が取り付けられ、前記燃料付属品は、弁部材を支持するキャリアであり、前記融合素子は、シートの形態を有し、前記筐体と前記壁の前記所定の場所との間に配置される溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容されている、燃料付属品。
- 前記シートは、ディスク形状またはフラットリング形状である、請求項1記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記弁部材は、前記係合表面に隣接する出口ノズルを有する、請求項1記載の燃料付属品。
- 前記燃料付属品は、磁化可能な部材を備え、融接処理中、前記燃料付属品が磁力によって前記燃料タンクの場所に引き付けられる、請求項1記載の燃料付属品。
- 複数の燃料付属品がキャリア部材に取り付けられる、請求項1記載の燃料付属品。
- プラスチック材料よりなり、請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つの燃料付属品が前記内側表面に取り付けられ、前記燃料付属品は、融接によって前記内側表面の前記所定の場所に取り付けられる、燃料タンク。
- プラスチック材料よりなる筺体を少なくとも有する燃料付属品をプラスチック材料よりなる燃料タンクに取り付ける方法であって、前記筺体には融合素子が取り付けられ、
(a)前記燃料タンクの壁の内側表面の所定の場所に前記燃料付属品を位置決めするステップと、
(b)前記所定の場所に前記筺体の係合表面を接合するステップと、
(c)プラスチック材料を溶融するのに好適な温度まで加熱するために前記融合素子を通じて電流を印加し、前記燃料付属品を前記燃料タンクに溶接するステップと、を備え、
前記燃料付属品は、弁部材を支持するキャリアであり、
前記融合素子は、前記筐体と前記所定の場所との間に配置される溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容されている、
方法。 - プラスチック材料よりなる燃料タンクの壁の内側表面の所定の場所に燃料付属品を取り付ける方法であって、前記燃料付属品には融合素子が予め取り付けられ、前記燃料付属品の取り付けは、融接によって行われ、前記燃料付属品は、弁部材を支持するキャリアであり、前記融合素子は、前記燃料付属品と前記所定の場所との間に配置される溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容されている、方法。
- 前記融合素子は、シートの形態を有し、前記シートは、ディスク形状またはフラットリング形状である、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記弁部材は、前記燃料付属品の筐体の係合表面に隣接する出口ノズルを有する、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 複数の燃料付属品がキャリア部材に取り付けられる、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 複数の融接が同時に行われる、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 複数の燃料付属品の同時融接または燃料タンクに取り付けられた様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアの同時融接を含む、多数の融接付属部品の制御のための制御部が設けられる、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記融合素子は、誘導によって印加される電流または取り外し可能な導電ワイヤを通って印加される電流によって、加熱される、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 融接は、前記燃料付属品と前記燃料タンクの壁部との一方に設けられた磁化可能な部材によって前記燃料タンク内の壁部に前記燃料付属品を引き付け、係合する磁場を生成する誘導電流によって励起される、請求項7または請求項8記載の方法。
- 燃料付属品を燃料タンクの内壁の所定の場所に導入し、融接によって取り付ける操作装置であって、前記操作装置は、前記燃料タンクに形成される開口部を通って前記燃料タンクの内部空間に導入するアームとして構成され、前記燃料付属品は、溶接可能な運搬部材内に受容されている融合素子を備え且つ弁部材を支持するキャリアであり、前記操作装置は、複数の溶接パラメータの管理と多数の融接付属部品の制御とを行う制御部を有する、操作装置。
- 前記制御部は、複数の燃料付属品の同時融接または前記燃料タンクに取り付けられた様々な弁部材が取り付けられるシーティング/キャリアの同時融接のために設けられる、請求項16記載の操作装置。
