  • Beschreibung
  • Verfahren zur Herstellung nicht lösbarer Rohrverbindungen von Kunststoffrohren.
  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung nicht lösbarer Rohrverbindungen, sowie das dazu benötigte heizbare Schweißplättchen.
  • Es sind bereits Verfahren zur Herstellung nicht lösbarer Rohrverbindungen bekannt, insbesondere das Heizelement-Muffenschweißen, sowie ein Verfahren mittels Elektroschweißmuffen.
  • Beim Heizelement-Muffenschweißen werden die Fügeflächen vorbearbeitet, insbesondere die Rohrenden kalibriert, so dann werden Muffe und Rohr auf ein Heizelement aufgesteckt, nach einer entsprechenden Anwärmzeit ruckartig vom Heizelement entfernt und sofort zusammengefügt.
  • Das bekannte Verfahren mittels Elektroschweißmuffe kennzeichnet sich dadurch, daß die Innenseiten der Muffen mit einem Heizdraht ausgestattet sind, die in Anschlußnippeln an der Außenseite der Muffen enden und über diese Nippel an die Stromquelle angschlossen werden.
  • Nach dem Zusammenfügen von kalibriertem Rohr und Elektroschweißmuffe schmilzt durch das Anschließen an die Stromquelle das Innere der Muffe und bewirkt so die Verbindung der beiden Teile.
  • Der Nachteil des Heizelement-Muffenschweißens liegt darin, daß beim Zusammenfügen der erwärmten Teile (Rohr und Muffe) der Druck nicht genau zu berechnen ist und daher bei etwas zu hohem Druck, sich an der Innenseite der Nahtstelle ein Wulst bilden kann, der dem Rohrquerschnitt an der Nahtstelle erheblich vermindert, folglich ein Fließhindernis darstellt.
  • Ein Großteil der Muffenschweißverbindungen müssen per Hand ausgeführt werden und bergen damit die Gefahr in sich, daß die Achse der zu verbindenden Teile unsachlich abgebogen wird.
  • Die Haltbarkeit der Schweißnaht ist dann gefährdet.
  • Ein weiterer wesentlicher Nachteil dieses Verfahrens liegt darin, daß durch die Unhandlichkeit, insbesondere an schwer zugänglichen Stellen, zwei Arbeitskräfte erforderlich sind, den Arbeitsgang durchzuführen. Auch eine Teilvorfertigung an der Werkbank bedingt zwei Arbeitskräfte, da die Teile bizarre Formen annehmen und unhandlich werden. Dies stellt einen erheblichen wirtschaftlichen Nachteil dar.
  • Das Verfahren mittels Elektroschweißmuffe versucht die Nachteile des Heizelement-Muffenschweißens zu verhindern. Die Konstruktion läßt jedoch keinen Fügedruck zu. Da zwischen Rohr und Muffe eine notwendige Toleranz sein muß, ist der Schweißvorgang auf die Zufälligkeit des Zusammenfließens angewiesen. Selbst eine Umkonstruktion könnte der Elektroschweißmuffe keinen Durchbruch bescheren, da für jedes einzelne der Vielzahl von Fittings eine Sondermaschine zur Herstellung notwendig wäre. Deshalb ist auf dem Markt bisher auch lediglich die Durchgangsmuffe bekannt.
  • Sie soll muffengeschweißte Teilvorfertigungen an unzugänglicher Stelle verbinden.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Kunststoffschweißverfahren zu entwickeln, daß alle diese bekannten Nachteile ausschließt.
  • Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Verbindung zwischen Muffe und Rohr nach dem zu schützenden Verfahren hergestellt wird.
  • Das Rohr (2) und die Muffe (1) werden konisch kalibriert.
  • Der Toelranzspalt zwischen Rohr und Muffe wird nach der Stärke des Schweißplättchens bemessen. Das Schweißplättchen hat die Form des Mantels eines Kegelstumpfes (3) und paßt sich damit der konischen Kalibrierung an.
  • Der eingearbeitete Heizdraht endet in den Kontakten, die als Kontaktlaschen überstehen (4). Dieses Schweißplättchen wird gereinigt und in die Muffe eingelegt (5). Beide Kontaktenden werden mit der regelbaren Stromquelle verbunden. Der nunmehr erwärmte Heizdraht schmilzt das Material der Schweißplättchen sowie die Kontaktwandungen des Rohres und der Muffe an.
  • Die absolute Schmelztemperatur und die Reaktionszeit werden durch die regelbare Stromquelle automatisch ausgesteuert.
  • Nachdem der gewünschte Schmelzpunkt erreicht ist, werden Muffe und Rohr unter leichtem Anpressdruck miteinander verbunden.
  • Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile bestehen insbesondere darin, daß die gewählte konische Form beim Andrücken die zu verbindenden Teile zentriert. Ein Verkanten der Achse wird vermieden.
  • Die konische Form der zu verbindenden Teile lenkt beim Anpressen den Anpressdruck senkrecht auf die Schweißflächen (6) und gewährleistet eine gleichmäßige, ordnungsgemäße Verbindung.
  • Ein innerer, dem Rohrquerschnitt verengender Wulst kann nicht entstehen.
  • Der Verfahren ermöglicht mit jeweils einer Sorte Schweißplättchen alle Fittings einer Rohrdimension zu verarbeiten.
  • Der Endverarbeiter wird in die Lage versetzt, eine komplette Installation an Ort und Stelle vorzuarbeiten, um dann in einem Zug mit einer Arbeitskraft alle Schweißungen nacheinander durchzuführen.

Claims (2)

  1. Patentansprüche 1. Verfahren zur Herstellung nicht lösbarer Rohrverbindungen von Kunststoffrohren.
    D a d u r c h g e k e n n z e 1 c h n e t, daß zwischen konisch kalibrierter Muffe (1) und konisch 5 kalibriertem Rohr (2) jeweils ein Schweißplättchen mit eingearbeitetem Heizdraht (3) eingefügt wird, dieser Heizdraht mit einer regelbaren Stromquelle verbunden wird, so daß durch die Erwärmung des Heizdrahtes das Material der Schweißplättchen, sowie die Kontaktwandungen des Rohres und der Muffe schmelzen 10 und nach Erreichen des gewünschten Schmelzpunktes Muffe und Rohr unter leichtem Anpressdruck miteinander verbunden werden.
  2. 2. Heizbares Schweißplättchen zur Ermöglichung der Herstellung nicht lösbarer Rohrverbindungen.
    Dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, 15 daß es die Form des Mantels eines Kegelstumpfes hat (3), sowie mit einem eingearbeiteten Heizdraht mit Außenkontakten versehen ist (4).
