Description
第1成形品が有する第1溶着部(22)と、第2成形品が有する溶着部であって第1溶着部に隣接する第2溶着部(32)との両方に接触し、第1溶着部および第2溶着部を加熱溶融させる溶着チップ(90、902、903、904、905、906)を備え、
溶着チップは、筒状の一端が開口し他端が閉塞される有底筒形状の突起部(92)と、突起部の筒外面から延び、かつ、突起部の筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第1延出部(93)と、筒開口方向において第1延出部から突起部の開口側へ延び、かつ、筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第2延出部(94)と、を有し、突起部は、該突起部の筒開口側から、第1溶着部および第2溶着部に筒開口方向へ押し込まれる。
なお、以下の説明では、上述した「筒開口方向」を「所定方向」と記載する場合がある。
溶着チップは、筒状の一端が開口し他端が閉塞される有底筒形状である突起部(92)と、突起部の筒外面から延び、かつ、突起部の筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第1延出部(93)と、筒開口方向において第1延出部から突起部の開口側へ延び、かつ、筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第2延出部(94)と、を有しており、
第1溶着部と第2溶着部とを互いに隣接させるように、第1成形品および第2成形品を配置する配置手順(S10)と、
配置手順の後、第1溶着部および第2溶着部に、突起部を筒状の開口側から筒開口方向へ押し込む押込手順(S11)と、
突起部を所定量だけ押し込んだ状態、かつ、第1溶着部および第2溶着部を溶着チップで加熱して溶融させている状態を所定時間保持させる加熱溶融手順(S12)と、
加熱溶融手順の後、第1溶着部および第2溶着部を冷却して固化させる冷却固化手順(S13)と、を含む。
図1に示す液面検出装置Dは、車両に搭載され、潤滑油の液面レベルLVを検出するものである。この潤滑油は、車両に搭載された内燃機関に用いられるものであり、内燃機関を構成するシリンダブロックの下部に取り付けられたオイルパン11に貯留されている。図中の上下方向を示す矢印は、車両に搭載された状態における液面検出装置Dの上下方向を示す。オイルパン11の内面には、水平方向に張り出した金属製の片持ち梁12が取り付けられている。液面検出装置Dは片持ち梁12にボルト13によって固定されている。
上記第1実施形態では、ボデー20およびカバー30に台座21、31が形成され、この台座21、31に溶着部22、32が形成されている。これに対し本実施形態では、これらの台座21、31を廃止し、図11に示すようにボデー202の本体部分に溶着部22が直接形成されている。また、図11には図示されていないカバーについても、ボデー202と同様にして本体部分に溶着部32が直接形成されている。
上記第1実施形態に係る溶着チップ90では、第2延出部94が第1延出部93から延びる方向は、溶着チップ90の移動方向と平行である。これに対し、図13に示す本実施形態の溶着チップ903では、第2延出部94が第1延出部93から延びる方向は、溶着チップ90の移動方向に対して交差する方向である。つまり、第2延出部94のうち筒中心線に対して垂直な断面での筒開口面積が、第1延出部93から離れるほど大きくなっていく末広がり形状である。
上記第1実施形態に係る溶着チップ90では、第1延出部93と第2延出部94との接続部分が直角に形成されており、第1延出部93および第2延出部94を合わせた断面の形状はL字状である。これに対し、図14に示す本実施形態の溶着チップ904では、第1延出部93と第2延出部94との接続部分が、湾曲面R1、R2を有する湾曲形状である。
上記第1実施形態に係る溶着チップ90では、第1延出部93と第2延出部94との接続部分が直角に形成されており、上記第4実施形態ではその接続部分が湾曲した形状である。これに対し、図15に示す本実施形態の溶着チップ905では、第1延出部93と第2延出部94との接続部分が、テーパ面C1、C2を有するテーパ形状である。
図16に示す本実施形態の溶着チップ906は、第2延出部94に加えて第3延出部95を有する。第3延出部95は、第1延出部93の板内面93aから筒端面92cの側に延出する筒形状である。第3延出部95の延出方向は、第2延出部94と平行である。第3延出部95の延出長さは、第2延出部94の延出長さよりも短く設定されている。つまり、溶着チップ906を押し付ける所定方向において、第3延出部95の延出端面95aは、第2延出部94の延出先端面94bに対して第1延出部93の側に位置する。
以上、発明の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、発明は上述した実施形態に何ら制限されることなく、以下に例示するように種々変形して実施することが可能である。各実施形態で具体的に組合せが可能であることを明示している部分同士の組合せばかりではなく、特に組合せに支障が生じなければ、明示してなくとも実施形態同士を部分的に組み合せることも可能である。
Claims (4)
- 樹脂製の第1成形品(20、202)および第2成形品(30)を溶着により結合させる溶着装置において、
前記第1成形品が有する第1溶着部(22)と、前記第2成形品が有する溶着部であって前記第1溶着部に隣接する第2溶着部(32)との両方に接触し、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部を加熱溶融させる溶着チップ(90、902、903、904、905、906)を備え、
前記溶着チップは、
筒状の一端が開口し他端が閉塞される有底筒形状の突起部(92)と、
前記突起部の筒外面から延び、かつ、前記突起部の筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第1延出部(93)と、
前記筒開口方向において前記第1延出部から前記突起部の開口側へ延び、かつ、前記筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第2延出部(94)と、
を有し、
前記突起部は、該突起部の筒開口側から、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部に前記筒開口方向へ押し込まれる溶着装置。 - 前記第2延出部のうち前記筒開口方向に延びた先端の面である延出先端面(94b)は、前記筒開口方向において、前記突起部の開口側の端面である筒端面(92c)に対して、前記突起部の閉塞側の反対側に位置する請求項1に記載の溶着装置。
- 樹脂製の第1成形品(20、202)が有する第1溶着部(22)と、樹脂製の第2成形品(30)が有する溶着部であって前記第1溶着部に隣接する第2溶着部(32)との両方を、溶着チップ(90、902、903、904、905、906)で加熱溶融させることで、前記第1成形品および前記第2成形品を溶着により結合させる溶着方法において、
前記溶着チップは、
筒状の一端が開口し他端が閉塞される有底筒形状である突起部(92)と、
前記突起部の筒外面から延び、かつ、前記突起部の筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第1延出部(93)と、
前記筒開口方向において前記第1延出部から前記突起部の開口側へ延び、かつ、前記筒開口方向の周りに環状に延びる形状の第2延出部(94)と、
を有しており、
前記第1溶着部と前記第2溶着部とを互いに隣接させるように、前記第1成形品および前記第2成形品を配置する配置手順(S10)と、
前記配置手順の後、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部に、前記突起部を筒状の開口側から前記筒開口方向へ押し込む押込手順(S11)と、
前記突起部を所定量だけ押し込んだ状態、かつ、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部を前記溶着チップで加熱して溶融させている状態を所定時間保持させる加熱溶融手順(S12)と、
前記加熱溶融手順の後、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部を冷却して固化させる冷却固化手順(S13)と、
を含む溶着方法。 - 前記押込手順では、前記第2延出部のうち前記筒開口方向に延びた先端の面である延出先端面(94b)を、前記第1成形品および前記第2成形品に押し込ませないようにしつつ、前記第1溶着部および前記第2溶着部に前記突起部を押し込む請求項3に記載の溶着方法。
