Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'emballage d'un produit au moyen d'un emballage formé d'un film inférieur (7) rétractable et d'un film supérieur (10). Le film inférieur est embouti pour constituer un réceptacle destiné à recevoir le produit, et, après introduction dudit produit, le film supérieur est amené pour former un couvercle. L'emballage ainsi formé est scellé par retrait dans une station de mise sous vide et de scellement. Pour que la partie de film formée entre la partie du film inférieur et du film supérieur reposant directement sur le produit et le bord de scellement (16) soit éliminée, on procède ensuite, après la mise sous vide et le scellement, à une post-rétraction en soumettant tous les côtés de l'emballage à de la chaleur. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
