Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-purpose handheld device, in particular for Office work, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • This multi-purpose handheld device is designed like a pocket knife, i.e. that the device should be small, compact and pocket-sized and none when not in use Tips or cutting edges are exposed, which can lead to injuries.
  • Pocket knives are often equipped with a variety of tools, and not just with large and small knife blades, but also with Files, screwdrivers, saws, etc. Most of the time, the tools are on one Body articulated and overcoming a spring preload in it Use position folded out. Small tools are also occasional completely removable from the body.
  • Some types of tools are on or in a pocket knife only can be accommodated if there are compromises in terms of functionality To be received. For example, you can find pocket knives with foldable scissors, but then only one for most purposes too has a weak construction and is too small for many applications.
  • a multi-purpose hand-held device of the type mentioned at the outset is known from US-A-4,783 867 known that a stapler, a pair of scissors, a knife, a scale, a Includes staple remover and a cutter. These are individual tools each fold out or slide out of a housing. This leads to Stapler that this is very small in a handy version of the device must be, so that it is only correspondingly small and small brackets in can accommodate a relatively small number, so that only correspondingly thin Stacks of paper can be stapled and the staples must be changed frequently. The stapler of this device is therefore insufficient for actual office work.
  • the two blades are each with one Housing part connected, the two housing parts in the plane of the closing and opening movement of the two blades can be moved against each other to operate the scissors. Again, this is only a makeshift since that For longer cuts, push the scissors into the clippings opposes. A hole punch is completely missing.
  • the multi-purpose handheld device known from US-A-4,794,692 is similar to that discussed above, with the blades in the median plane is arranged between the two housing parts pivotable relative to one another, with both a punch and a stapler missing.
  • the object of the invention is a multi-purpose handheld device according to the Preamble of claim 1 to create the housing of tools allowed, which so far only poorly or not at all in pocket knife form were realizable.
  • tools is in the broadest sense too understand and should include all conceivable devices or utensils that as Aids can be used at work and in leisure.
  • two such components are provided here, which also makes it possible To accommodate functional parts where two part tools are relative are to be moved towards each other, e.g. a punch or a stapler.
