Claims (13)

1. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête pour toits recouverts de plaques (3), se composant de chapes (7) formant l'extrémité supérieure du faîte ou de l'arête fixées sur le madrier de faîte ou d'arête (6) de la construction du toit, ainsi que de bandes d'étanchéité (9) flexibles disposées entre ces chapes et les plaques (3) de recouvrement du toit, lesdites bandes reposant, par leurs bords longitudinaux (11) tournés vers les plaques, sur celles-ci, chaque bande d'étanchéité (9) présentant une bande-support flexible (10 ; 10') qui est pourvue à l'un de ses bords longitudinaux (11), ou aux deux, d'une partie latérale (12) en un matériau élastiquement déformable, qui épouse la forme, par son bord longitudinal externe (14) du dessus des plaques de recouvrement du toit (3) se trouvant en dessous, caractérisé en ce que la partie latérale (12) est en forme de peigne et les dents (12a) de la partie latérale (12) sont reliées de manière à pouvoir être écartées les unes des autres par une bande latérale (13) recouvrant les entredents, en un matériau flexible.
2. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne présente une denture régulière et la bande latérale (13) est fixée aux dents (12a) de la partie latérale de manière que des tronçons (13a) de la bande latérale de grandeur identique soient formés pour recouvrir les entredents.
3. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon la revendication 2 caractérisé en ce que la bande latérale (13) se compose d'un matériau profilé de forme ondulée et est fixée par les crêtes des ondulations aux dents (12a) de la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne.
4. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3 caractérisé en ce que la bande latérale (13) est soudée ou collée aux dents (12a) de la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne.
5. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4 caractérisé en ce que la largeur de la bande latérale (13) correspond à la largeur de la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne.
6. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5 caractérisé en ce que la longueur étendue de la bande latérale (13) représente 1,25 à 2,5 fois, en particulier 2 fois la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne.
7. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6 caractérisé en ce que la bande support (10 ; 10') ainsi que la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne se composent de PVC dur et la bande latérale (13) de PVC souple.
8. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6 caractérisé en ce que la bande-support (10) ainsi que la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne se composent de PVC dur et la bande latérale (13) est en une étoffe nappée perméable à l'air, en particulier en fibres de polyester ou de polyamide.

Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7 caractérisé en ce que la bande-support (10') présente, à sa partie (10b') se trouvant du côté du madrier de faite ou d'arête (6), des ouvertures d'aération (15) et est pourvue d'appuis surélevés (17) pour les chapes (7).

Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9 caractérisé en ce que l'épaisseur de matière de la bande-support (10 ; 10') ainsi que de la partie latérale en forme de peigne (12) est de 0,6 à 1,5 mm, en particulier de 1,00 mm, et l'épaisseur de matière de la bande latérale (13) est de 0,05 à 0,5 mm, en particulier de 0,15 mm.
11. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10 caractérisé en ce que la largeur de la partie latérale (12) en forme de peigne est de 50 à 100 mm, en particulier de 75 mm.
12. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11 caractérisé en ce que la largeur des dents (12a) et la distance entre les dents est de 3 à 5 mm et en particulier de 4 mm.
13. Recouvrement de faîte ou d'arête selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12 caractérisé en ce que la bande-support (10 ; 10') présente une partie médiane (10a ; 10a') de configuration plane pour l'appui et la fixation sur le madrier de faîte ou d'arête (6) d'où partent des branches divergeant latéralement vers le haut qui forment des parties (10b ; 10b') pouvant être latéralement appuyées vers le bas par les chapes (7).
