技术领域
这里公开的实施例涉及转向柱组件,更具体地,涉及一种用于转向柱组件的旋转控制组件。
背景技术
线控型转向柱可以不具有与转向齿轮的机械连接。机械连接可以被人工路感设备替代,该设备通常是控制为向驾驶员提供道路压力反馈的伺服电机。它还可以提供足以表明车轮行进停止的作用力或锁对锁端部止动件(end stop)。当车辆的电源中断时,可能期望其不消耗电池余量以提供静态转向效果。在这种情况下,方向盘易于旋转。这可能使车轮旋转超出辅助充气约束系统(SIR)线圈的配线极限,因而使线断开且使车辆非正常运转或不安全地行驶。
发明内容
在本公开的一个实施例中,一种用于转向柱组件的旋转控制组件包括转向轴。还包括可随同转向轴旋转的驱动调整片(driving tab)。还包括围绕转向轴且相对于转向轴可旋转的转板,该转板具有从转板延伸的从动调整片(driven tab),驱动调整片可与从动调整片接合以旋转转板。还包括端部止动件,该端部止动件从被布置成从转向轴沿径向向外的结构延伸且沿径向定位成当从动调整片旋转时使从动调整片接合到端部止动件,从动调整片与端部止动件的接合限制转向轴的旋转。
在本公开的另一实施例中,一种用于转向柱组件的旋转控制组件包括转向轴。还包括固定板,该固定板被固定不动地联接到转向轴以随同转向轴旋转,固定板具有从固定板延伸的固定板销。还包括多个转板,所述多个转板围绕转向轴且相对于转向轴可旋转,每个转板具有从转板延伸的转板销,其中一个转板销可与固定板销接合以旋转转板。还包括端部止动件,该端部止动件从被布置成从转向轴沿径向向外的结构延伸且沿径向定位成当转板销旋转时使其中一个转板销接合到端部止动件,转板销与端部止动件的接合限制转向轴的旋转。
在本公开的又另一实施例中,一种用于转向柱组件的旋转控制组件包括转向轴。还包括固定板,该固定板围绕转向轴且被固定不动地联接到转向轴以随同转向轴旋转,固定板具有从固定板延伸且具有第一旋转轴线的驱动销,该第一旋转轴线与转向轴的旋转轴线同轴。还包括从动轮,该从动轮的第二旋转轴线与第一旋转轴线偏离且平行于第一旋转轴线,从动轮限定沿径向向内延伸的多个槽,所述槽中的至少一个槽延伸的深度相对于其它槽较浅,驱动销可与多个槽接合,驱动销与具有较浅的深度的槽的接合限制转向轴的旋转。

具体实施方式
现在参考附图,其中将描述但并不限制实施例,图1至图4示出以编号10总体标示的转向柱组件。转向柱组件10可以被运用在多种类型的车辆上。在一些实施例中,转向柱组件10被运用于汽车中且是可以与转向齿轮(未示出)机械地脱离连接的转向柱。例如,线控型转向系统可以得益于这里描述的实施例。在其它实施例中,转向柱是具有I轴分离设备的机械转向系统的一部分。
在一些情况中,可操作地联接到转向柱组件10的方向盘(未示出)易于旋转。这可能使车轮旋转超出辅助充气约束系统(SIR)线圈的配线极限,因而使线断开且使车辆非正常运转或不安全地行驶。为了解决这个问题,提供旋转控制组件12。旋转控制组件12通过设置端部止动件14来限制转向柱组件10的角度旋转,其中端部止动件14机械地停止转向柱组件10的角程。
转向柱组件10包括转向轴16,该转向轴16基于用户的输入并经由方向盘的旋转而旋转。转向轴16被布置成从柱套(column jacket)18沿径向向内且在柱套18内旋转,柱套18相对于转向轴16保持旋转静止。提供使转向轴16的旋转行进硬停(hard stop)的端部止动件14被可操作地联接到柱套18(或与柱套18一体成型)并从柱套18沿径向向内延伸。替代性地,端部止动件14可以被可操作地联接到不同的转向柱壳体结构(或与其一体成型)。
固定板20围绕至少一部分转向轴16并被可操作地联接到转向轴16或与转向轴16一体成型,使得允许固定板20与转向轴16一起旋转。在所示实施例中,固定板20是绕转向轴16完整延伸的柱形环,但应该理解的是,在一些实施例中可以利用替代性形状。从固定板20延伸出驱动调整片22。在一些实施例中,驱动调整片22从固定板20的径向外表面24沿径向向外延伸。此外,驱动调整片22从固定板20沿轴向延伸,这有助于驱动调整片22与相邻板的调整片的接合,在下文中将具体描述。
至少一个转板26围绕转向轴16,但与固定板20不同的是,其相对于转向轴16自由旋转。与固定板20一样,转板26可以是绕转向轴16完整延伸的柱形环,但应该理解的是,在一些实施例中可以利用替代性形状。如所示实施例中示出,可以运用多个转板。特别地,所示实施例公开了四个转板,但转板的数量可以被修改以调节转向轴16的角度旋转极限,这将从这里的说明中理解到。无论转板26的数量为何,每个转板26包括从转板延伸的从动调整片28。在一些实施例中,从动调整片28从转板26的径向外表面沿径向向外延伸。此外,从动调整片28从转板26沿轴向延伸,这有助于从动调整片28与相邻板的调整片或端部止动件14的接合。
如所示,隔板32可以被设置在相邻转板26之间和/或设置在转板26与固定板20之间。隔板32在所示实施例中是柱形环,并围绕转向轴16。隔板32相对于转向轴16自由旋转且可以容易地沿轴向移除以允许调节组件中包括的转板26的数量。轴承34轴向地约束转板26、固定板20和隔板32,并围绕转向轴16。应该理解的是,可以运用其它轴向保持部件以轴向地约束转板26、固定板20和隔板32。
在操作中,固定板20响应于转向轴16的旋转而旋转。在一些实施例中,这是由于驱动调整片22与由转向轴16限定的键槽的接合。在其它实施例中,固定板20被联接到转向轴16,如焊接固定等,使得转向轴16和固定板20同时旋转。固定板20的旋转导致驱动调整片22的旋转,直到与相邻转板26的从动调整片28发生接合。进一步旋转导致驱动调整片22和从动调整片28的旋转,直到从动调整片28接合相邻的从动调整片28。这持续到转板26的从动调整片28被定位成沿轴向最靠近端部止动件14。最靠近端部止动件14的从动调整片28的接合导致通过转向轴16的角度移动的硬停,因而避免了转向轴16的过度旋转的不良结果。
此时参考图5,示出旋转控制组件的另一实施例且标记为编号100。旋转控制组件100包括固定板102,该固定板102被可操作地联接到转向轴16,或与转向轴16一体成型,使得允许固定板102随同转向轴16旋转。设置固定板销104,该固定板销104从固定板102垂直地、或大体垂直地延伸。至少一个转板106围绕转向轴16,但与固定板102不同的是,其相对于转向轴16自由旋转。如所示,可以运用多个转板106。关于图1至图4的实施例的情况,转板的数量可以被改变以调节转向轴16的角度旋转极限。在每个实施例中,转板的数量确定转向轴16的旋转行进的角度。每个转板106包括转板销108,该转板销108从转板106垂直地、或大体垂直地延伸。
在操作中,固定板102响应于转向轴16的旋转而旋转。固定板102的旋转导致固定板销104的旋转,直到与相邻转板106的接合表面110发生接合。进一步旋转导致固定板销104和转板销108的旋转,直到转板销108接合相邻转板106的接合表面110。这持续到定位成沿轴向最靠近端部止动件114的转板106的转板销108接合端部止动件114。最靠近端部止动件114的转板销108的接合导致通过转向轴16的角度移动的硬停,因而避免了转向轴16的过度旋转的不良结果。
此时参考图6,示出旋转控制组件的另一实施例且标记为200。旋转控制组件200包括固定板202,该固定板202被可操作地联接到转向轴16,或与转向轴16一体成型,使得允许固定板202随同转向轴16旋转。设置驱动销204,该驱动销204从固定板202垂直地、或大体垂直地延伸。从动轮206被布置成接近固定板202,其旋转轴线偏离但平行于转向轴16和固定板202的旋转轴线。驱动销204延伸到从动轮206的多个槽208的一个槽中,以使从动轮206单步前进。这个机构可以被称为将转向轴16和固定板202的连续旋转转换为从动轮206的间歇性旋转运动的槽轮齿轮(Geneva gear)。固定板202还可以具有将从动轮206锁定在各步之间的合适位置的凸起阻挡盘。
在操作中,随着转向轴16旋转,驱动销204接合从动轮206的其中一个槽208。如所示,其中一些槽208相对于其它槽208沿径向更深地延伸到从动轮206中。较深的槽允许从动轮206的连续旋转,进而允许固定板202和转向轴16的连续旋转。较浅的槽不允许连续旋转,因而被视为端部止动件210。转向轴16在没有绑定或冲量锁定(impulse locking)的情况下自由逆向旋转。
虽然仅结合有限数量的实施例详细描述本发明,但应该容易理解的是,本发明并不局限于这些公开的实施例。确切地说,本发明可以被修改以包含目前未描述的任何数量的变型、更改、替换或等价设置,但对应本发明的精神和范围。此外,虽然描述了本发明的多种实施例,但应该理解的是,本发明的方案可以仅包括其中一些已描述的实施例。因此,本发明并不被视为由上述说明限制。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于转向柱组件的旋转控制组件,包括:
转向轴;
驱动调整片,能随同所述转向轴旋转;
转板,围绕所述转向轴且能够相对于所述转向轴旋转,所述转板具有从所述转板延伸的从动调整片,所述驱动调整片能与所述从动调整片接合以旋转所述转板;以及
端部止动件,从被布置成从所述转向轴沿径向向外的结构延伸且沿径向定位成当所述从动调整片旋转时使所述从动调整片接合到所述端部止动件,所述从动调整片与所述端部止动件的接合限制所述转向轴的旋转,
其中所述转板是多个转板的其中之一,每个转板围绕所述转向轴且能够相对于所述转向轴旋转,每个转板具有从相应的转板延伸的从动调整片,所述驱动调整片能与其中一个所述从动调整片接合以旋转所述转板;
所述旋转控制组件还包括围绕所述转向轴的至少一个隔板,所述至少一个隔板是不具有从动调整片的柱形环且被布置在所述多个转板之间,而且所述至少一个隔板相对于所述转向轴自由旋转且沿轴向能够移除以允许调节所述转板的数量。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述转向柱组件包括与转向齿轮机械地分离的转向柱。
3.根据权利要求2所述的组件,其中所述转向柱组件是线控型组件。
4.根据权利要求2所述的组件,其中所述转向柱组件是具有I轴分离设备的机械转向系统。
5.根据权利要求1所述的组件,还包括固定板,所述固定板围绕所述转向轴且固定不动地联接到所述转向轴以随同所述转向轴旋转,所述驱动调整片与所述固定板一体成型且与由所述转向轴限定的键槽接合以在所述转向轴的旋转期间能旋转地驱动所述驱动调整片。
6.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述转向轴的角度旋转极限能够通过改变所述多个转板的数量来调节。
7.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述转向轴的角度旋转极限能够通过改变所述从动调整片的宽度来调节。
8.根据权利要求5所述的组件,其中,所述至少一个隔板中的一个隔板被布置在所述固定板与所述转板之间。
9.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中被布置成从所述转向轴沿径向向外的所述结构包括转向柱套。
10.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中被布置成从所述转向轴沿径向向外的所述结构包括柱壳体。
