本发明涉及含有营养的/营养保健的凝胶胶囊或片的食品或宠物食品。
在本申请中,“营养的/营养保健的载体”的基本含义意指以食品成分和健康相关的知识为基础制备的食品。通过维持人和宠物健康潜在地发挥功能性食品的疗效。

本发明涉及含有至多50%的凝胶胶囊或片(以藻酸盐、果胶酸盐或两者的混合物为基础)的饲料或宠物食品,并含有油、维生素、氨基酸、蛋白质、矿物质、着色剂、香味剂和/或特定目标功能成分(如生态微生物、生物活性分子),所说的食品选自干燥、冷冻、甑馏和超高温处理的产品。
本说明书中的食品,可理解为人用食品和宠物食品。
除藻酸盐和果胶酸盐外,加入其他如carraghenate、吉兰糖胶或琼脂的水胶体的微量成分也可。在这种情况下,微量成分的量不超过藻酸盐、果胶酸盐和微量成分总量的10%。
