Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a feed having extremely improved cat palatability and low calorie, by embedding fish meat in agar jelly.
CONSTITUTION: Agar and water are added to fish meat, which is cooled. Fish meat with low fat is preferable as the fish meat to be used. The amount of water to be added to the fish meat is an amount to give 25W50wt% agar jelly based on th whole feed, and the amount of agar to be added together with water is an amount to give 0.6W1.5wt% agar concentration from a viewpoint of agar solubility.
