  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.    217234.    Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Stilbenfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Stilben-          farbstoffes,    dadurch gekennzeichnet,     dass    man  ein Gemisch von     4-Amino-2,5-dimethoxy-2'-          oxy-1,1'-azobenzol-5'-sulfon,säure,    beispiels  weise hergestellt durch Kuppeln von     diazo-          tierter        2-Amino-l-oxybenzol-4-sulfonsäure     mit     1-Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenz(>1,    und von       4-Amino-'2)-met'hoxy-1,

  1'-azobenzo   <B>'</B>     1-4-sulfon-          säure,    beispielsweise hergestellt durch Kup  peln von     diazotierter        1-Aminobenzol-4-sulfon-          säure    mit     m-Auisidin,    mit oder ohne Druck  mit     4,4'-Dinitrostillben-2,2'-disulfonsäure    kon  densiert und das Kondensationsprodukt mit       kupferabgetenden:    Mitteln in den     Kupferlack          überfüLzt.     



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt getrocknet ein  dunkles Pulver dar, er löst     siüh    in Wasser  mit brauner, in     konz.    Schwefelsäure mit  violetter Farbe und färbt Baumwolle in licht  echten braunen Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>32,3</B> Teile des Farbstoff es, dargestellt  durch Kuppeln von     diazotierter    2-An'iino-l-         o2##vbenzol-4-sulfosäure    mit     1-Amino-2,5-di-          methoxybenzol,    und<B>30,7</B> Teile des Farbstoffes,  ,dargestellt durch Kuppeln von     diazotierter        1-          Aminobenzol-4-sulfonsä,ure    mit     m-Anisidin,     werden mit 47,4 Teilen     4,4-dinitrostilben-2,2'-          disulfosaurem    Natrium in<B>500</B> Teilen Wasser  und<B>100</B> Teilen Natronlauge von<B>36 '</B> B6  <B>1.8</B> Stunden bei Siedetemperatur kondensiert.

    Nach dem Abstumpfen der Natronlauge mit  Salzsäure wird der Farbstoff     ausgesa.Izen    und  filtriert.  



  Der noch feuchte Filterkuchen wird in  zirka<B>1500</B> Teilen Wasser bei<B>80'</B> gelöst und  mit einer     ammoniakalischen        Kupfersuliat-          lösung,    hergestellt aus<B>25</B> Teilen     krist.        Kup-          fersuliat,    gelöst in<B>100</B> Teilen Wasser und  <B>60</B> Teilen 25%igem     Ammoniak,    12 Stunden  bei<B>90</B> bis<B>95 '</B> verrührt. Dabei wird kontrol  liert,     dass    bis zum     Schluss        Kupferüberselluss     vorhanden ist. Die Kupferverbindung wird       ausgesalzen    und filtriert.  



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt getrocknet ein  dunkles Pulver     #dar,    er löst sich in Wasser  mit     braun-er,    in     konz.    Schwefelsäure mit      violetter Farbe und färbt Baumwolle in     licht-          ,echten    braunen Tönen.

The present patent relates to a process for the production of a stilbene dye, characterized in that a mixture of 4-amino-2,5-dimethoxy-2'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzene-5'-sulfonic acid is used , for example prepared by coupling diazo-tated 2-amino-1-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid with 1-amino-2,5-dimethoxybenz (> 1, and of 4-amino-'2) -met'hoxy-1 ,

  1'-azobenzo <B> '</B> 1-4-sulfonic acid, for example produced by coupling diazotized 1-aminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid with m-auisidine, with or without pressure at 4.4' -Dinitrostillben-2,2'-disulfonic acid condenses and the condensation product with copper-releasing agents in the copper lacquer.



  The new dye is a dark powder when dried; it dissolves in water with brown, in conc. Sulfuric acid with violet color and dyes cotton in light, real brown tones.



  <I> Example: </I> <B> 32.3 </B> parts of the dye it, represented by coupling diazotized 2-an'iino-l- o2 ## vbenzene-4-sulfonic acid with 1-amino 2,5-dimethoxybenzene, and <B> 30.7 </B> parts of the dye, prepared by coupling diazotized 1-aminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid with m-anisidine, are 47.4 parts of 4 , 4-dinitrostilbene-2,2'-disulphonic acid sodium in <B> 500 </B> parts of water and <B> 100 </B> parts of sodium hydroxide solution of <B> 36 '</B> B6 <B> 1.8 < / B> hours condensed at boiling temperature.

    After the sodium hydroxide solution has been blunted with hydrochloric acid, the dye is extracted and filtered.



  The still moist filter cake is dissolved in about <B> 1500 </B> parts of water at <B> 80 '</B> and mixed with an ammoniacal copper sulate solution, made from <B> 25 </B> parts of crystalline. Copper sulphate, dissolved in <B> 100 </B> parts of water and <B> 60 </B> parts of 25% ammonia, 12 hours at <B> 90 </B> to <B> 95 '</ B> stirred. It is checked that there is an excess of copper right up to the end. The copper compound is salted out and filtered.



  The new dye is a dark powder when dried, it dissolves in water with brown-er, in conc. Sulfuric acid with a purple color and dyes cotton in light, real brown tones.

Claims

<B> PATENT CLAIM: </B> Process for the production of a stilbene dye, characterized in that a mixture of 4-amino-2,5-dimethoxy-9 -'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzene-5 ' sulfonic acid and of 4 amino-2-methoxy-1,1'-azobenzene-4'-sulfonic acid condensed with 4,4'-dinitrostilbene-2,2-disulfanic acid and the condensation product obtained with, copper-releasing agents in transferred the copper lacquer.

The new dye is a dark powder when dried, it dissolves in water with brown, in conc. Sulfuric acid with violet color and dyes cotton in light, real brown tones. <B> SUBCLAIM: </B> Method according to patent claim, characterized in that the stilbene dye is produced in a pressure vessel.
