Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 217234. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Stilbenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Stilbenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch der Farbstoffe 6-Chlor- 2-amino-l-oxybenzol-4-sulfonsäure <B>---,</B> m- Anisidin und 4-aminoazobenzol-4'-sulionsau- res Natrium mit oder ohne Druck mit 4,4'- Dinitrostilben-2,
2'-disulfonsäure kondensiert und das Kondensationsprodukt mit kupfer abgebenden Mitteln in den Kupferlack über führt.
Der Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar-, er löst sieh in Wasser mit braunoliver, in *konzentrierter Sehwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe und färbt Zellulosefasern in licht echten Bronzetönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>30</B> Teile des Farbstoffes 6-Chlor-2-amino- 1-oxvbenzol-4-sulfonsäure <B>-></B> m-Anisidin und 25 Teile 4-aminoazobenzol-4'-sulfon- saures Natrium werden mit 47,4 Teilen 4,4'- dinitrostilben-2,2'-disulfonsaurem Natrium in <B>500</B> Teilen Wasser und<B>1.00</B> Teilen Natron lauge<B>36 '</B> B6 14 bis<B>16</B> Stunden bei Siede- temperatur kondensiert. Nachdem die Na tronlauge mit Salzsäure abgestumpft ist, wird mit Kochsalz ausgefällt und filtriert.
Der noch feuchte Filterkuchen wird in 2000 Teilen Wasser heiss gelöst und mit einer ammoniakalischen Kupfersulfaflösung, her gestellt aus<B>25</B> Teilen kristallisiertem Kup fersulfat, gelöst in<B>100</B> Teilen Wasser und<B>60</B> Teilen 2<B>5 %</B> igem Ammoniak, 12 bis 14 Stun den bei<B>90</B> bis<B>95 '</B> verrührt. Es wird kon trolliert, dass bis zum Schluss ein Kupferüber- schuss vorhanden ist. Die Kupferverbindung wird ausgesalzen und abfiltriert.
Der Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, er löst sich in Wasser mit braunoliver, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe und färbt Zellalosefasern in licht echten Bronzetönen.
