Abstract

"APARELHO DE TESTE MICROBIOLóGICO AUTOMATIZADO E MéTODOS PARA O MESMO" Um sistema de teste microbiológico diagnóstico e método para a identificação de microorganismos (ID) e determinações de suscetibilidade antimicrobiana (AST). O sistema inclui painéis de teste de múltiplos tubos capazes de realizar o teste IS e AST no mesmo painel de teste. Cada painel de teste é inoculado com reagentes, organismos suspensos em calda, e colocado no sistema de instrumento. O sistema de instrumento inclui um carrossel rotativo para a incubação e indexação, múltiplas fontes de luz cada uma emitindo luz com diferentes comprimentos de onda, detecções colorimétrica e fluorométrica de precisão, rastreamento do painel de teste por código de barra e um processador de controle para fazer as determinações com base nos dados de teste medidos. Uma fonte de luz inclui uma pluralidade de LEDs arranjados em um arranjo linear. Cada uma das correntes de junção dos LEDs são controláveis de modo a produzir um perfil de iluminação predeterminado.
