Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA ESQUADRINHAR PLACAS DE CULTIVO BIOLóGICO". Um esquadrinhador para placa de cultivo biológico inclui um sistema de iluminação multicor que ilumina uma placa de cultivo biológico com diferentes cores de iluminação. Um aparelho de captação de imagem monocromática capta imagens da placa de cultivo biológico durante a iluminação da placa de cultivo biológico com cada uma das cores de iluminação. Um processador combina as imagens para formar uma imagem multicor composta, e/ou componentes individuais da imagem composta, e analisa a imagem composta para produzir um resultado analítico tal como uma contagem de colónias ou um resultado de presença/ausência. O esquadrinhador para placa de cultivo biológico pode incluir componentes de iluminação tanto dianteira como traseira. O componente de iluminação traseira pode incluir um elemento difusor disposto sob a placa de cultivo biológico. O elemento difusor recebe luz de uma ou mais fontes de iluminação lateralmente dispostas, e distribui a luz para iluminar um lado traseiro da placa de cultivo biológico. As fontes de iluminação nos componentes de iluminação dianteira e traseira podem assumir a forma de conjuntos de fotodiodos (LED) que podem ser independentemente controlados pelo processador.
