Abstract

Se describe un sistema para el analisis rapido de parametros microbiologicos que incluye un envase del ejemplar para contener una muestra liquida, un alojamiento que tiene una camara que se puede encerrar de forma para recibir el envase del ejemplar, un sistema incubador montado dentro del alojamiento para incubar materiales microbiologicos dentro de la muestra liquida, y un sistema espectrofotometrico montado dentro del alojamiento para medir la luz absorbida, emitida o dispersada por las muestras liquidas, cuando los materiales microbiologicos son incubados por el sistema incubador con el tiempo. El envase del ejemplar se llena con una muestra liquida que ha de ser analizada y se mezcla con un reactivo que proporciona un parametro detectable, y se coloca dentro del aparato. El sistema de incubacion calienta y mantiene la temperatura de la muestra liquida dentro de un intervalo preestablecido mientras el sistema espectrofotometro propaga luz dentro del envase del ejemplar y monitoriza y registra cambios en la luz a medida que la luz se propaga a traves del envase. Una monitorizacion y registro continuos, no intrusivos del parametro de prueba se logra a medida que progresa la incubacion. Cualquier desviacion significativa de la salida de la senal es un indicio de la presencia del parametro detectable, mientras el tiempo que se tarda en llegar a una desviacion significativa proporciona la cuantificacion del parametro microbiologico en investigacion.
