Abstract
Se describen métodos y aparatos para evaluar la calidad de un ambiente o proceso, al medir la luz emitida desde una muestra bioluminiscente que contiene ATP, ADP o fosfatasa alcalina; el aparato comprende un sistema de recolección y análisis de muestra utilizado para recolectar una muestra, mezclar reactivos, hacer reaccionar la muestra, y recolectarla en una cámara de medición; el sistema incluye un instrumento que tiene un montaje de detección de fotones para usarse con el dispositivo de prueba de muestras y uno o más montajes de sondas que cooperan ópticamente con el instrumento; el instrumento incluye una cámara oscura con una superficie interior reflejante que puede ser cóncava o preferiblemente esférica y un sensor de detección de fotones tal como un sensor contador de fotones de pixel múltiple; una porción sustancialmente transparente del montaje de sonda y un líquido contenido en el mismo, enfocan la bioluminiscencia hacia el sensor de detección de fotones.
