Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"CHAPA OU EXTRUSãO DE LIGA DE ALUMìNIO-MAGNéSIO"<D>. Apresenta-se uma liga de Al-Mg de alta resistência, em forma de chapa ou extrusão, com uma resistência significativamente melhor tanto na têmpera macia, quanto encruada, quando comparada com AA5083. Os materiais têm ductilidade e resistências à corrosão localizada, sob tensão e esfoliação equivalentes àquelas da AA5083. Os materiais têm melhores resistências à corrosão sob tensão e esfoliação a longo prazo a temperaturas acima de 80°C. A composição é de 5 - 6% de Mg, Mn > 0,6 - 1,2%, Zn 0,4 - 1,5%, Zr 0,05 - 0,25%, Cr até 0,3%, Ti até 0,2%, Fe até 0,5%, Si até 0,5%, Cu e Ag até 0,4% cada, o restante de Al impurezas inevitáveis. A fabricação da chapa dessa liga é por homogeneização de um lingote, laminação a quente do lingote em uma chapa na faixa de 400 - 530°C, laminação a frio da chapa com ou sem inter-recozimento final e, opcionalmente, inter-recozimento do material laminado a frio a temperaturas na faixa de 200 - 550°C.
