resumo patente de invenção: "chips de batata não fritos e método de produção para os mesmos". a presente invenção refere-se a um método para produção que obtém chips de batata não fritos que têm um baixo teor de gordura como resultado de serem produzidos sem serem fritos em óleo e não terem sabor ou textura inferiores em comparação a chips de batata produzidos por fritura em óleo. esse método de produção para chips de batata é caracterizado por incluir: uma primeira etapa de aquecimento na qual batata em fatias é aquecida por fluxo de ar de alta temperatura e alta velocidade de pelo menos 100 °c soprado sobre a mesma enquanto é adicionada água; e uma segunda etapa de aquecimento na qual, após a primeira etapa de aquecimento, a batata em fatias é aquecida por um fluxo de ar de alta temperatura e alta velocidade de pelo menos 100 °c soprado sobre a mesma enquanto é adicionada menos ou nenhuma água.
